The government needs new cars? I think NOT!

January 31, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 19:15 PM

Remember ACORN? Congressional Democrats voted to offer billions of taxpayer dollars to ACORN and other leftwing outfits – YOUR tax dollars - in their “economic stimulus” legislation.

But that isn’t all. House Democrats voted to spend $600 million on new cars for the federal government, $50 million for the National Endowment of the Arts, and $136 billion on at least 32 government programs. They even voted to spend $335 million on STD prevention.

None of this will fix our ailing economy.

How about a simple NO for those begging for handouts.
Like any business owner if you can not make it on your own then you need to go out of business.
If ACORN can not make it on their own they too need to go out of business.

It will be interesting to see how much of this stimulus package they want to siphen off to themselves in raises or perks.

Personally I think they all need about a 25% pay cut (at least) since they are responsible for this problem.

It could never happen here in America? Well it is!

January 31, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 17:59 PM

It could never happen to us seems to be what much of the populations thinks.
That is either arrogant, delusional or flat out stupid. The most interesting thing to me is until the bomb drops in your own back yard much of population functions on business as usual.

First we have a President of the USA who has been sued more in 12 months than any other President has been sued in a whole life time. That should send up red flags somewhere. Again there is a new lawsuit challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president.

Instead of the President simply presenting the documents that would settle all of this … NO ! NOT going to do that. So we have suit being brought on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. and names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Where’s the proof Barack Obama was born in the U.S. or that he fulfills the “natural-born American” clause in the Constitution?

HERE THIS LOUD AND CLEAR … THERE IS NONE YET !!

More to this story HERE

Then we have Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s nomination was held up after it was revealed that he had failed to pay more than $34,000 in taxes.

Now we have former Sen. Tom Daschle, chosen to lead the new president’s health reform efforts. Daschle recently filed amended tax returns to report $128,203 in back taxes and $11,964 in interest, according to a Senate document obtained by The Associated Press.

Daschle filed amended tax returns for 2005, 2006 and 2007 to reflect additional income for consulting work, the use of a car service and reduced deductions for charitable contributions. He filed the returns after Obama announced he intended to nominate Daschle to head the Health and Human Services Department.

Most of the additional taxes resulted from unreported income from the use of a car service provided him by a close friend and business associate, Leo Hindery Jr. The unreported income for that service totaled more than $250,000 over three years.

I am beginning to wonder if a requirement to be in the Obama administration is DON’T PAY YOUR TAXES.
Clinton ushered in the legacy “it’s okay to be in politics and be a liar” … it appears that the legacy for Obama is “tax cheats are okay”.

Meanwhile a large segment of the population either does not have a clue or simply does not care we are in an economic meltdown.

EVERYONE should stand up and scream STOP !

Washington woes translate in public woes.

January 31, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 17:22 PM

There are millions of Americans who are politically ignorant. That does not include the voting public that are simply plain ignorant. Today it is unfortunate the rest of us are left to suffer those consequences. To top that off it appears that a good part of the public have lost the ability to use what we all know as ‘common sense’ and far worse have lost their ‘ethical compass’.

Personally I give up my political affiliation with the Republicans.
The bad behavior in Washington in my viewpoint is rampant on both sides of this isle. I blame the Republican party the most because they failed to hold the ethical line that made me proud to be in that party. The Democrats have always been whiny sniveling boo hoo artists giving handouts to the undeserving in order garner perks for themselves.

Why do I put the heaviest blame on the Republicans? Because they KNOW BETTER and are either in collusion or chose to say nothing for whatever reason.

I fully believe that those who sit on the sidelines and say NOTHING when they see a wrong being committed are as guilty as those who commit the bad behavior. In that case SILENCE IS NOT GOLDEN.

I watched Orin Hatch being interviewed about the ‘okay’ of Tim Geithner on Glen Beck the other day. I was appalled that Hatch thought it was better for the country to have a crook watching over the treasury assets because he was “so brilliant” so “smart”. I am aghast at Hatch’s definition of brilliant. Hatch looked into Geithner’s eyes and trusted this was an honest mistake. We trust the running of our government to people who themselves have less than adequate judgment skills?
1. Brilliant DOES NOT trump ETHICAL.
2. Someone who ‘cheats on his taxes’ is a gambler … better defined by stupid rather than brilliant.

Geithner by action is not brilliant or he should have known HE WOULD BE EXPOSED. Maybe he did and thought “oh well business as usual”.

“Inexcusable negligence” for non-payment of ($43,000) in taxes during his International Monetary Fund days … was the comment from Susan Collins of Maine (R). Tom Harkin of Iowa, Robert Byrd of West Virginia and Russ Feingold of Wisconsin (all Democrats where smart and ethical enough to put the nix on the okay) as was Bernie Sanders an Independent. Arlen Specter said he would vote yes but had a change of heart and the last moment and voted NO. Well BRAVO to those with the ‘common sense’ and ‘ethical guts’ to call a spade a spade. You see it seems a good many feel “Had (Geithner) not been nominated for treasury secretary, it’s doubtful that he would have ever paid these taxes.”

Geithner was given a thumbs up and now is in charge of the IRS.
This is ethical insanity.

Former Terrorist Bill Ayers Heckled and Protested During Speech in SF

Thank heaven there are still young people who are not as foolish as their peers and some of their professors and administrators.

Reformed is not part of what Bill Ayers is at all.
He is not the least bit sorry for his actions … in fact he denies them.
He maintains HE is not responsible for any bad behavior (anyone believing that has a serious brain function impediment). Isn’t that what every narcissistic jerk says?

Every PARENT footing the bill for their kid to take classes from Ayers should be pitching the BITCH of a lifetime. Insist on your money back and start a class action if you don’t get it.

Bill Ayers was one of the founders of the Weather Underground, a Vietnam era radical group responsible for several bombings in the early 1970’s. At present, he is a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago and noted for his work in education reform.

Ayers was invited to speak at the St. Mary’s College in Moraga Wednesday night as part of a lecture series designed to challenge students to think in new ways. But not everyone welcomed him. Several conservatives went to the college to protest Ayers’ appearance. They called him a domestic terrorist.

During his speech, one man tried to present Ayers with a bible. Security took him away and Ayers went on with his lecture. He challenged students to look at the world differently and get involved. “We need to open our eyes and see the world as it really is.. not some fragmented stereotype of a world predigested corporate ideological lenses and see the world as it is,” Ayers said.

Obama takes a stand.

Bravo Barack Obama … well said!

President Barack Obama issued a withering critique Thursday of Wall Street corporate behavior, calling it “the height of irresponsibility” for Wall Street employees to be paid more than $18 billion in bonuses last year while their financial sector was crumbling.

“It is shameful,” Obama said from the Oval Office. “And part of what we’re going to need is for the folks on Wall Street who are asking for help to show some restraint, and show some discipline, and show some sense of responsibility.”

The president’s comments, made with new Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner at his side, came in swift response to a report that employees of the New York financial world garnered an estimated $18.4 billion in bonuses last year. The figure, from the New York state comptroller, drew prominent news coverage.

Then we are facing this:

Eastman Kodak Co. said Thursday it is cutting 3,500 to 4,500 jobs, or 14 percent to 18 percent of its work force, as it posted a fourth-quarter loss of $137 million on plunging sales of both digital and film-based photography products. Its stock tumbled more than 23 percent.

Ford Motor Co. said Thursday it lost $5.9 billion in the fourth quarter and burned through $5.5 billion in cash as sales slumped, but the company still says it does not plan to seek federal loans.

The Labor Department reported that the number of Americans continuing to claim unemployment insurance for the week ending Jan. 17 was a seasonally adjusted 4.78 million, the highest on records dating back to 1967. That’s an increase of 159,000 from the previous week and worse than economists’ expectations of 4.65 million.

This is a drop in the bucket of what is on the horizon.
Apparently the “oh well” attitude will continue until the pink slip hits the mailbox of “we the people”.
Do you have a plan B?
If the breadwinner in your family were cut loose from their job what would you do? Those are things that could be just around the bend. The first domino has been pushed over … how long will that line take before it hits your spot on the planet?

arnold_schwarzeneggerCalifornia faces a $42 billion budget deficit through June 2010. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has a plan.
Two-day-a-month furloughs (without pay) to all 238,000 state workers. Of course two employee unions had challenged Schwarzenegger’s executive order, saying he did not have authority to order furloughs.

Judge Patrick Marlette disagreed. In a preliminary ruling, he said the governor has “express authority to make the challenged order.”

Schwarzenegger has declared a fiscal emergency and he said the reduced-work plan will save California about $1.4 billion through June 2010.

Marlette said “The current circumstances constitute an emergency,” and “The challenged order is reasonable and necessary.”

So the furloughs are scheduled to start Feb. 6.

Schwarzenegger also has sought other concessions from state employees, including eliminating two of their 14 paid holidays.

The governor said “To me labor has the choice, and I made this very clear: That they can help us in making the decision in how they save the $1.4 billion,”.

From my perspective it’s a pretty simple decision … you take the cuts as individuals or you lose your job. My husband always says “half of something is better than all of nothing” … it is prudent to think along those lines sometimes in the real world.

Perhaps Barack Obama needs to pick up the same gauntlet with the federal government job force.
The public is called on to chinch in their belts … lets see Nancy P. spearhead the movement in her house.
That would be refreshing wouldn’t it?

arrogance

Electronic database to include lawsuit, mental health, abortion, sexual details and only GOD knows what else.

Another little discussed insert in the Obama economic stimulus plan would demand that every American submit to a government program for electronic medical records without a choice to opt out.

Documentation on abortions, mental health problems, impotence, being labeled as a non-compliant patient, lawsuits against doctors and sexual problems could be shared electronically with, perhaps, millions of people.

Could be shared? … well we all know how leak proof ANYTHING in our government is. Lets translate that into lay language. Will be shared either for FREE or an under the table FEE.

Consumer Watchdog, even suggested today Google is trying to lobby for the “sale of electronic medical records.”
Pushing for the provisions so it may sell patient medical information to its advertising clients on the new ‘Google Health’ database?

Consumer Watchdog sent a letter to Congress urging them to put the nix on this process … no doubt like everything else it will be ignored by all. LETTER HERE.

Does any of this matter to you?

If so TO BAD.

This is simply one more thing the ‘Obama HOPE AND CHANGE’ is quietly trying to slip by the public.

Gee I wonder how this could possibly happen?
Well of late I have wondered not only how is this happening but when/where did it start?

$825 billion stimulus plan the latest ponzi scheme?

January 27, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 23:42 PM

It seems Bernard Madoff is a lightweight at ponzi when you look at the $825 billion stimulus plan.
The nation is about to be screwed without even a kiss.

The majority of the voting population voted for Barack Obama with the promise of change.
I would be willing to bet the change expected was not for the WORSE. In reality suddenly ALL sides of the isle are leaping onto the disaster bandwagon.

I have just had an opportunity to look over the latest American Reinvestment and Recovery Plan.
It sounds GREAT! Keep in mind the operative word is SOUNDS.

$825 billion stimulus plan? Stimulus to who? The majority of it certainly will not benefit you or me.
It does not take rocket science or even 4th grade math to realize this governmental 2 + 2 does NOT ADD UP to 4.
Those awestruck by ‘Obama Light’ are slowly beginning to realize they and their children will be left footing the bill.

Thank heavens I have a dollar tree in my back yard, I expect the value of those leaves are equal to that of the US dollars they are cranking out by US presses 24/7.

Nancy Pelosi in an interview TRIES TO JUSTIFY the expenditure of hundreds of millions of dollars for family planning services. How literally enlightening … “the states are in terrible fiscal crisis”? And that is solved by handing out condoms? Is this woman dumb as a stump?
Apparently!

How stupid does she think we are to fall for this CROCK?

Let’s see here it takes 3 mos for the money to hit these agencies, another 3 most to get the teaching process going, then at least a year for the drop in unplanned pregnancy to manifest (if it does and probably will not).

That is simply one logic shooting holes in the “Pelosi rationale’ and there is no doubt you all could come up with about 100 more.

Then we have our ‘clown friend Barney’ (Barney Frank that is) bailing out his buddy bank? You know the one that the FDIC is pinging on because of misconduct? Why is this ‘corrupt dunce’ still in a position to do any of this?

How intelligent can Barack Obama be to allow any of this on his watch. Maybe he thinks we do not hold him accountable for what his underlings do?

We also have the NOW FAMOUS Rod Blagojevich … I have now watched him on 3 interviews or clips of those interviews. The same mindset and phrase occurs ad nauseam. “I did nothing illegal” … it sounds so much like “I did not have sex with that woman” I want to throw up. What suddenly struck me like a ton of bricks … the common thread. These people HONESTLY DO NOT think they have done anything wrong.

I am sorry I DO NOT ACCEPT that because some people lie it is acceptable for all politicians to be liars.

The corrupt system wins when “we the people” think we do not count. That is the time when it is most necessary to take a stand and have your voice heard. At least you do not succumb to the apathy and become a part of the problem.

Let your voice be heard … http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/ enter your zipcode and you will be taken to a page to contact your own state representatives. Let them know you are not happy having your future sold out from under you.

The Washington Freak Show Dianne Feinstein

January 26, 2009
Posted by Economics9698 @ 13:12 PM

feinsteinDianne Goldman Berman Feinstein is the senior U.S. Senator from California, having held office as a senator since 1992.

Feinstein has been married three times. Her third husband, Richard C. Blum, is an investment banker with large investments in companies that have won large government contracts without competitive bidding. As of December 2006, according to SEC filings and FedSpending.org, three corporations in which Blum’s financial entities own a total of $1 billion in stock won considerable favor from the budgets of the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

In 2003, Feinstein was ranked the fifth-wealthiest senator, with an estimated net worth of $26 million. By 2005 her net worth had increased to between $43 million and $99 million. Her 347-page financial-disclosure statement is characterized by the San Francisco Chronicle as “nearly the size of a phonebook.”

And to compound this conflict of interest it appears Mrs. Feinstein would be trading favorable vote for China and possibly selling them intelligence. After all Mrs. Feinstein is the Chairperson of the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI). Can anyone believe these freaks in Washington? Let’s see we will put the most compromised untrustworthy senator in the senate whose husband has made multimillions from one of our potential enemies in charge of intelligence. The gall of these people just boggles my mind. The government school brainwashing have had such a huge impact when corruption and treasonous behavior by a senator smacks the public in the face they are completely oblivious to it. What spy? What conflict of interest? Instead the brainwashed press and masses concentrate on sex scandals and Obama’s gluteus maximus. Nothing better than being Jewish and a democrat these days is it Mrs. Feinstein?

As a politically insensitive person let me throw out a few names here. Julius Rosenberg, Ethel Greenglass Rosenberg, David Greenglass, Morton Sobell, J. Robert Oppenheimer, Leo Szilard, Bruno Pontecorvo, Morris Cohen, Lona Cohen, Robert Soblen, Jack Soble, Victor Perlo, Lee Pressman, Jacob Albam, Nathan Gregory Silvermaster, V. J. Jerome, Alexander Trachtenberg, Israel Amter, Arvo K. Halberg, Philip Bart, Philip Carl Weissberg, Joel Barr, Harry Dexter Weiss, Alfred Sarant, Harry Goldodnitsky, Theodore Hallsberg, Yakov Golos, Armand Hammer, Samuel Dickstein and Jonathan Pollard. All spies working against the United States of America. They got paid a whole lot less than Mrs. Feinstein’s husband. So why would Mrs. Feinstein be any different from these characters? She has a whole lot more motivation than these other spies. I mean after all for some people nations come and go. Money is forever. It’s all about the money isn’t it Mrs. Feinstein?

We can only hope the NSA is doing the equivalent of NATO secret to Mrs. Feinstein and her opportunistic colleges at the senate willing to sell out the United States for some Chinese gold and silver. For those of you not in the military back in the cold war days they had NATO secret documents which basically meant everyone in the world knew the information but we were going to pretend it was a real secret. We all knew the first frog or kraut that laid eyes on the document would go running to the nearest KGB operative and spill his or her guts as fast as their diarrhea mouth could spit out the information. So basically NATO documents were completely boring useless crap so frogs and krauts could feel useful “undermining” the United States. We can only hope Mrs. Feinstein is receiving the same treatment.

These freaks in Washington think the masses are stupid. And for the most part they are right. Talk to anyone who voted for Obama and we can see that brainwashing truly is effective. But those of us who are not will have to be dealt with sooner or later. We may just help our future opponent the Chinese in fulfilling the liberals’ dream of the destruction of America. We may rise up and create a second civil war. Maybe we will migrate to Canada, central and south America leaving the parasites the horrible task and realization that there are no workers to suck blood from. Or the most direct option of removing parasites from elected office. Nobody can predict how this will end up. Probably a combination of all the above.

One thing is certain is there is a large minority out there that is not buying your crap. When the dollar tanks, unemployment goes up to 12% and inflation flares to 30% a lot more will not be buying your bail out to the parasites crap. We all know you hate America. We all know you worship your gold and silver pieces far more than some stupid nation. Someday you will be gone. Make fun of nations. They come and go. You are right about that. But so will your family and its gold. We the people will make sure of that.

Washington scandal parade 2009.

January 24, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 22:57 PM

geithnerThe government hierarchy is entrenched in scandal these days.
MSM could not wait to leap on the bandwagon to tar, feather and pillar anyone in the Republican party that they felt was doing wrong. The silence from them TODAY is deafening.

Perhaps they do not consider all of the scandal rife in the new political administration wrong?

The news is full of stories about how Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich attempted to sell Barack Obama’s Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Obama’s new White House chief of staff, FOB (friends of Barack) Rahm Emanuel, also has serious ethical shortcomings. Emanuel’s voice is on the tapes of Blagojevich and John Harris, Blagojevich’s recently departed chief of staff. Emanuel is heard representing Obama in the negotiations to sell the Senate seat. When approached by the governor, Emanuel didn’t contact authorities and turn in Harris or Blagojevich for pitching the deal. Remember, at least two players are required for the “pay to play” game. All of those who actively participated in the alleged negotiations to sell a Senate seat are just as guilty as Blagojevich.

There is little if any concern about the pattern of close Obama associates involved in scandal. Apparently the MSM can not connect the dots or never heard the old term BOAF (birds of a feather).

Then we have Eric Holder, FOB and Obama’s nominee for Attorney General, is also guilty of questionable entanglements, making it nearly impossible for him to fulfill his duties as the nation’s top law enforcement officer. Holder, on the last day of Bill Clinton’s presidency, worked on the controversial pardon of felon Marc Rich and a whole slew of others. Later, when in private practice, Holder represented the Chiquita company, securing them a sweetheart deal in the lawsuit against them for paying protection money to AUC, a Colombian terrorist group. AUC is responsible for horrific massacres in Colombia and plays a large role in the exportation of cocaine from the country. Court records reveal Holder wanted the Chiquita case dismissed, saying, “There is no clearly defined rule of international law prohibiting material support of terrorism.” The U.S. government designated the AUC as a foreign terrorist organization on September 10, 2001.

FOB Bill Richardson recently withdrew his name from nomination for Commerce secretary due to a grand jury investigation. He is accused of taking $100,000 from another FOB, David Rubin, president of the CDR Financial Products, Inc. “I have been an unabashed supporter of Democratic causes and public figures, especially those like Richardson, who support a liberal, inclusive agenda,” Rubin said.

The grand jury is looking into Rubin’s Beverly Hills, Calif.-based CDR, which received almost $1.5 million in fees from the New Mexico Finance Authority in 2004. This is after donating $100,000 to Richardson’s efforts to register Hispanic and Native American voters and pay for expenses at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. The New Mexico probe comes two years after the FBI searched CDR’s records as part of a nationwide investigation into whether banks and advisers conspired to overcharge local governments on financing deals.

CDR has also been the target of investigations by the Internal Revenue Service, Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice into whether banks and brokers conspired to rig bids on municipal derivatives and profit from deals at the expense of U.S. taxpayers.

What the news has failed to cover is that Obama, too, received big money — $30,000 — from Rubin in September. Obama has raked in millions for his presidential campaign from donors with business before the federal government.

Then we have the brilliant Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary. He is a must have because he is the ONLY PERSON who can pull us out of the economic crunch the government has foisted our way. He is SO BRILLIANT he can not figure out his income tax using turbo tax. I have to ask how brilliant can someone be if they can not figure out a program set up for kindergarten children. How brilliant is someone who fails to pay their tax for 4 years. How exceedingly brilliant is someone who takes a check compensating for those failed tax payments? Can anyone spell CROOK except me?

If there is a silver lining in all of this it is simple … all of those silent PUNDITS are going down the tubes along with all of us little guys. Apparently these visionary’s can not see the writing on the wall they too will be standing in an unemployment line somewhere.

A citizens perspective on inauguration 2009

January 21, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 19:48 PM

inauguration2009

Yesterday I was drawn to the TV in order to watch the presidential inauguration … one of the more historic moments in my time.
A half black man was elected President of the United States of America. That in itself is a minor miracle to one who looks back 67 years in time.

I have to say this is the first time in my life I was interested enough to watch most of an inauguration of any past President. Barack Obama’s speech was one of the most inspirational I have yet to hear. It reminded me somewhat of a speech by John F. Kennedy where the famous “ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do of your country” was born. All of the ‘hope’ pieces directed at the populace were there … certainly something that the mass could cling to for ‘hope of positive change’.

So what if the moment was a little tarnished by an 87-year-old civil rights pioneer, Rev. Joseph Lowery, during the inauguration benediction when asking God to help mankind work for a day when “white would embrace what is right”.
Apparently Rev. Lowery is to old to remember where he came from and where he is today … ALL achieved by the majority of whites who worked so hard by the side of blacks in order to usher in that change. Otherwise Lowery and his issue might still be behind a horse drawn plow in some Louisiana cotton field of old.

So what if the occasion were further tarnished by those in the crowd chanting ‘boo’ to President Bush, his wife Laura, Vice President Chaney and his wife Lynn?

We must be reminded this bad behavior is indicative of the ‘warped character’ sported by a ‘minority left fringe’. Unfortunately this fringe would vote for Mickey Mouse … the silver lining was Obama was there instead.

What I found disappointing was Barack Obama snickered at (Rev. Lowery) and ignored the ‘boo chant’ of a fringe that he mistakenly thinks love him.
Obama missed the opportunity to stop EVERYTHING in its tracks and in reality be as great as a majority expects him to be. Instead he showed his own lack of character by failing to respond to ‘right is right’. We are lead by example not by words alone.

Do you think maybe ‘we the people’ should expect someone who ‘walks the walk’ instead of simply blathers on about ‘hope and change’?

For me what overshadowed this whole historic moment was when Barack Obama placed his hand on the Lincoln bible and swore to uphold the Constitution of the USA.

WHAT A CROCK!

What kind of light is shed on the character of a man who knows he does not qualify as a ‘natural born citizen’ (AS REQUIRED BY THE CONSTITUTION OF THE USA) but pretends he does anyway?

What does it say about the character of those who claim to love our nation and the Constitution (the foundation of this country) when they sit idle and say/do nothing?

We expect this man is capable to lead us where?

This commentary has NOTHING to do with politics … it has everything to do with character and ethics, which clearly is sorely lacking in our government today.

So ‘we the people’ are saddled for 4 years with someone who spouts “hope and change” while being void of character and ethics?

This is THE JOKE OF THE CENTURY!

The Washington freak Show Part VII Barbra Boxer

January 19, 2009
Posted by Economics9698 @ 19:34 PM

bboxerBarbara Levy Boxer (born 11 November 1940) is the current junior U.S. Senator from the State of California. Boxer was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1992, becoming one of the first of two female Jewish senators, along with Dianne Feinstein. Throughout her career, Boxer has been a vocal advocate for environmental issues, abortion rights, gun control, and medical research. She is generally classified as a progressive or liberal and is often in conflict with conservative groups. Her electoral margins have increased each time she has been re-elected.
In 1962, she married Stewart Boxer, and took his surname, and graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s in Economics. She was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, in the Phi chapter.

Boxer’s husband, Stewart, is a prominent attorney in Oakland, where he has always practiced. He mainly handles worker’s compensation cases (on the side of injured workers) and is known for keeping a very low profile, when it comes to politics. Many cases are referred to him by labor unions, including the Teamsters.

Early in Boxer’s political career in 1996 she came under scrutiny of the FBI for her strong support of China’s most favored nation trading status. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer were targeted to receive payments according to the NSA/FBI intercepted communications of Chinese operatives. The intelligence ultimately would not show that the Chinese government intended to organize payments directly to U.S. campaigns. They suspect the money would have come from businesses with operations in China, including subsidiaries in Taiwan or Hong Kong.

One of the most liberal senators she has voted against anything that would strengthen America. She voted against the Iraq War. She supports socialized medicine via the “you get the same insurance coverage as I do” scam Obama is pimping. In education she will drain the country dry supporting any and all after, before and during school indoctrination programs for children. Spend the money and ignore the overwhelming fact that there is no correlation between education spending and per pupil and results. It’s all about special interest and brainwashing the masses.
She believes the federal government can increase jobs and supports Invest in the USA Act. Somehow she thinks taxing companies $24 billion, taking a bureaucratic cut, and then spending the remainder on American Jobs Creation Act will help the economy. Barbra the masses may be that stupid but your stupidity insults my intelligence. You want jobs to return to America? Cut corporate taxes to 15% and shut up. It’s all about power and screwing America for this lady.

The liberal opposes drilling for oil, spending money protecting the oceans, supports Global Warming theories and wants to take away the masses energy supplies from conventional sources, and supports subsidies to farmers who are green. Take away energy from the masses and tax them more is her basic philosophy. Then some brainwashing until they can’t tell what is happening.
She supports killing babies by any means available. Supports spouse abuse programs that get women out of marriage instead of marriage counseling. Anything to break up families right Barbara?

She opposes FISA intelligence gathering laws, supports gun control laws. I could go on but the pattern is pretty clear. She is strongly opposed to helping the masses and private businesses and strongly in support of Big Brother. She supports all this taxation and chaos for the masses but in her own life she is a traditional family person. One husband, two kids, no drama. This seems to be a patter with these liberals. One set of values for her family and one set of values for the gentile unwashed masses of pork eaters. No empathy whatsoever for the working men and women. What goes around comes around Mrs. Boxer. We got your drift, you getting ours?

Al Franken and his cronies thieves?

January 19, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 12:58 PM

al_franken_bunny_webIt seems as time goes on those intent on corrupting our voting system get more bold. We have all heard of ACORN and others but today the most outstanding is Al Franken and his bid as senator of Minnesota.

It escapes me how out of thin air come enough ballots that were stashed elsewhere are allowed to be counted. The logical thing to do at this point is have all citizens vote again. This time showing they are legally registered voters. Probably Franken would LOSE in a landslide and we would be done with the whole mess.

What is most disturbing is the hypocrisy of the democrats who sit idle and refuse to leap up and scream about this situation. Clearly if the shoe were on the other foot we would see a rabid frenzy to right the situation pretty darn quick.

Apparently those who have lost their ethical way in lieu of the ME, ME, attitude so pervasive in politics today do not realize the tide is fickle and when it turns against them (and it will) they themselves will be screwed.

I have to wonder where are the good citizens who should also be pitching a major bitch over such antics? Do we simply sit silent and allow the ‘pond scum’ of the world take over and rule us all?

The latest from Republican National Lawyers Association:

Al Franken’s backers in Minnesota are so fearful of what we at the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) are doing to demand a fair Senate election in Minnesota that they have even taken legal action against us at the Federal Election Commission to stop us.

But we won’t stop. We won’t be intimidated by Franken and his gang.

Make no mistake about it: Franken, Harry Reid, and the Democratic Party of Minnesota will stop at nothing to seat Franken in the Senate.

Before the “recount” was even done, Reid tried to seat Franken and declared: “Norm Coleman will never ever serve [again] in the Senate.“

How dare he? The official election is not over in Minnesota. In fact, as we speak, a new judicial panel is being empowered to review all of these funny ballots that went in Franken’s favor, giving him his alleged lead.

Don’t forget that, on election night in November, Republican Coleman was ahead by 725 votes.

Even Reid’s deputy, Sen. Dick Durbin, admitted that no senator has been seated without an election certificate since 1884.

Still, Reid claimed that Minnesota is a “different animal” and that he still would seat Franken.

But GOP pressure and the work of the RNLA, among others, prompted Reid to back down. For the moment.

Though he hasn’t seated Franken in the Senate, Reid has outrageously broken all tradition and sealed shut Sen. Coleman’s office, leaving Minnesotans without one of their senators.

One thing is clear: We — thanks to your help — have had a major effect thwarting Democratic efforts to seat Al Franken illegally in the Senate.

This is why we at the RNLA have been targeted by Franken and his friends in the Democratic Party. This is why they filed a false and frivolous FEC complaint to stop us.

Please help us continue our efforts to expose the truth about Al Franken’s attempt to hijack this Senate seat.

Please help us stop Harry Reid from breaking all the rules of the Senate.

It seems like every time you turn on the TV, there’s an eye-catching new pharmaceutical commercial airing. Each new pill is packaged more beautifully than the last, and drug makers’ lofty claims promise an enticing array of health improvements — as long as you ignore the dubious side effects.

Still, the advertisements often skirt the big issues — what exactly are these new miracle pills for? Where do you turn for more information? Watch what happens when one man decides to seek some answers and ends up with more information than he bargained for!

How often do we see animals getting along better than we humans?
Perhaps we humans need to take a closer look.

Why fly-by?

January 14, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 15:59 PM

This post is a result of an email sent my way today.
It is a good example of how society is consumed by the trivia of the day and is quick to bitch/complain over NOTHING.
I researched this email because I do not often simply take these pass around email posts as true … this one did happen to be true.

So why would I post an incident from 2005 now?
Because it is indicative of a worse scenario today. “We indeed have come a long way baby”. Unfortunately it is in the wrong direction.

My first inclination when I read the email (only part of the story) was the complainer deserved a quick rap on the jaw in order to jar him out of his self-absorbed ME ONLY attitude. Apparently that was the reaction of others as the story unfolded.

In the end was left a very embarrassed complainer who clearly wished he had put more thought to comments before he ever took keyboard and mouse in hand.

Instead of reprinting the email version I decided to add the full length since it shows the whole picture.

The moral of the story is maybe we all need to think before we shove our mind into 1st gear and take action.

The original research can be also viewed HERE:

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back.

Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his day.

Claim:
Resident writes to newspaper to complain about fly-by of jets from local Air Force base headed for a fallen serviceman’s memorial service.

Status: True.

Origins:
This is one of those items for which any additional commentary would only serve as a distracting embellishment, so we’ll just present the details here and let the story tell itself.

jet-formationA letter to the Editor;
Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:
Whom do we thank for the morning air show?

Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 a.m., a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune!

Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns’ early-bird special?

Any response would be appreciated.

Tom MacRae, Peoria3

The correspondent received a response from Col. Robin Rand, commander of Luke AFB’s 56th Fighter Wing, in the pages of that same newspaper the following day:

Luke Air Force Base was asked to respond to a letter writer’s question about a “morning air show” he observed recently (“A wake-up call from Luke’s jets,” Letters, Thursday):

The “wake-up call” witnessed the morning of June 15 was a formation of F-16 jets from Luke Air Force Base lining up for a memorial service in Sun City at the gravesite for Air Force Capt. Jeremy Fresques, an officer assigned to Air Force Special Operations. Fresques gave his life in defense of our country while serving in Iraq.

It is unfortunate that at a time when our nation is at war someone would believe we have less than honorable and professional reasons for such a mission.

The commander of the fighter squadron was given the difficult duty of informing the family of Capt. Fresques on Memorial Day that the officer, a husband, son and Arizonan, had died in Iraq.

On behalf of the men and women at Luke Air Force Base, we continue to keep Jeremy and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Col. Robin Rand
Luke Air Force Base4

Four days later, the newpaper also published a reponse from Lt. Col. Pleus himself:

Regarding “A wake-up call from Luke’s jets”:

On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four-ship of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt Jeremy Fresques.

Capt. Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.

At 9 a.m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend.

Based on the letter writer’s recount of the flyby, and because of the jet noise, I’m sure you didn’t hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son’s flag on behalf of the president of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured.

A four-ship flyby is a display of respect the Air Force pays to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.

The letter writer asks, “Whom do we thank for the morning air show?”

The 56th Fighter Wing will call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.

Lt. Col. Scott Pleus
Luke Air Force Base5

What was going on behind the scenes:

On 8 June 2005 the following item appeared in the Albuquerque Tribune:
Air Force Capt. Jeremy Fresques, a Farmington native and Farmington High School graduate, joined a growing list of New Mexicans who have died in the war on terrorism, when the surveillance plane in which he flew crashed last week 80 miles northeast of Baghdad. Three of his U.S. colleagues and an Iraqi airman also were killed. Fresques was awarded the Bronze Medal posthumously Friday.

Fresques was 26. He left behind a wife — also an Air Force captain — and his parents. His sacrifice — and theirs — in the name of our nation’s security and the cause of democracy was immense. Col. O.G. Mannon, commander of the 16th Special Operations Wing, rightly called Fresques and his comrades “heroes.” We regard Fresques and all men and women with New Mexico connections as family and hold them deeply in our hearts.1
Capt. Fresque was killed in the line of duty on Memorial Day 2005, a month before he was to return home, and news of his death was conveyed Fly-By that day to Lt. Col. Scott Pleus, commander of the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona, where Capt. Fresques had previously been stationed. Lt. Col. Pleus, along with a chaplain and a medical technician, drove that evening to Yuma, Arizona, to undertake the sad duty of notifying Capt. Fresque’s parents of their loss.

About a week later, Lt. Col. Pleus was notified that a memorial service would be held for Capt. Fresque in Sun City, Arizona, on 15 June and that a fly-by from Luke AFB had been requested as part of the service in Capt. Fresque’s honor. Lt. Col. Pleus quickly assented:
Of course we would do it. It’s a four-ship formation. They fly straight and level over the gravesite and then, directly over the service, the No. 3 plane pulls away while the others fly straight ahead. Symbolically he’s headed for heaven. It’s the highest form of respect we can pay to a fallen airman.

Everyone involved in such a service considers it an honor. The fliers. The honor guard. The bugler who plays taps. All of us.2
While preparing to head from Glendale to Sun City (a distance of about 6 miles) for the memorial service, four F-16 fighter jets from Luke AFB flew a holding pattern over Glendale’s Arrowhead Mall, prompting a local resident unaware of their purpose to send the above sarcastic letter of complaint to the editor of The Arizona Republic:

To his credit, the complainant, Mr. MacRae, tendered a written apology which was published in The Republic on 9 July:

Regarding “Flyby honoring fallen comrade” (Letters, June 28):

I read with increasing embarrassment and humility the response to my unfortunate letter to The Republic concerning an Air Force flyby (“A wake-up call from Luke’s jets,” Letters, June 23).

I had no idea of the significance of the flyby, and would never have insulted such a fine and respectful display had I known.

I have received many calls from the fine airmen who are serving or have served at Luke, and I have attempted to explain my side and apologized for any discomfort my letter has caused.

This was simply an uninformed citizen complaining about noise.

I have been made aware in both written and verbal communications of the four-ship flyby, and my heart goes out to each and every lost serviceman and woman in this war in which we are engaged.

I have been called un-American by an unknown caller and I feel that I must address that. I served in the U.S. Navy and am a Vietnam veteran. I love my country and respect the jobs that the service organizations are doing.

Please accept my heartfelt apologies.

Obituary A True Friend Has Died

January 14, 2009

I found this on Fountainheadzero tonite and had to share it here.

Posted by Jerry D. Hill at 11:53 AM on FountainHead Zero

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn’t always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a class mate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame and I’m a Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

Author Unknown

My comment:
The decline of common sense started in 1946 with the best selling publication “Baby and Child Care” by Dr. Benjamin Spock. For at least 30 years every mother knew his name WELL. Spock using psychoanalysis concluded then conned society into believing it was better to treat children as individuals rather than training them to be responsible, respectful and disciplined.

That whole concept worked well don’t ya think?

The Right Way to Fight Recession

dan-mitchellDan Mitchell wrote the following on January 11, 2009. Great insight as always Dan.

Which U.S. president ranks as America’s greatest depression fighter? Not the fabled Franklin Delano Roosevelt, since unemployment averaged 17 percent through the New Deal period (1933–1940). What banished high unemployment was the conscription of 12 million men into the armed forces during World War II. FDR actually prolonged high unemployment: he tripled taxes; he signed laws that made it more expensive for employers to hire people, made discounting illegal, and authorized the destruction of food; and he launched costly infrastructure projects like the Tennessee Valley Authority that became a drag on states receiving TVA-subsidized electricity.

America’s greatest depression fighter was Warren Gamaliel Harding. …Harding inherited Wilson’s mess — in particular, a post–World War I depression that was almost as severe, from peak to trough, as the Great Contraction from 1929 to 1933 that FDR would later inherit. The estimated gross national product plunged 24 percent from $91.5 billion in 1920 to $69.6 billion in 1921. The number of unemployed people jumped from 2.1 million to 4.9 million. Harding had a much better understanding of how an economy works than FDR.

As historian Robert K. Murray wrote in The Harding Era, the man who would become our 29th president “always decried high taxes, government waste, and excessive governmental interference in the private sector of the economy. In February 1920, shortly after announcing his candidacy, he advocated a cut in government expenditures and stated that government ought to ’strike the shackles from industry. . . . We need vastly more freedom than we do regulation.’ ” One of Harding’s campaign slogans was “less government in business,” and it served him well. Harding embraced the advice of Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon and called for tax cuts in his first message to Congress on April 12, 1921. The highest taxes, on corporate revenues and “excess” profits, were to be cut.

…Harding’s Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover wanted government intervention in the economy — which as president he was to pursue when he faced the Great Depression a decade later — but Harding would have none of it. He insisted that relief measures were a local responsibility. Federal spending was cut from $6.3 billion in 1920 to $5 billion in 1921 and $3.2 billion in 1922. Federal taxes fell from $6.6 billion in 1920 to $5.5 billion in 1921 and $4 billion in 1922. Harding’s policies started a trend. The low point for federal taxes was reached in 1924; for federal spending, in1925. The federal government paid off debt, which had been $24.2 billion in 1920, and it continued to decline until 1930.

Conspicuously absent was the business-bashing that became a hallmark of FDR’s speeches. Absent, too, were New Deal-type big government programs to make it more expensive for employers to hire people, to force prices above market levels, or to promote cartels and monopolies. …With Harding’s tax and spending cuts and relatively non-interventionist economic policy, GNP rebounded to $74.1 billion in 1922. The number of unemployed fell to 2.8 million — a reported 6.7 percent of the labor force — in 1922. So, just a year and a half after Harding became president, the Roaring 20s were underway. The unemployment rate continued to decline, reaching an extraordinary low of 1.8 percent in 1926. …While Harding can hardly be considered a champion of laissez-faire economics (he supported tariffs, after all), the pro-growth policies he implemented are directly responsible for the astonishingly rapid growth in prosperity — and widely shared prosperity — America enjoyed throughout the Roaring 20s. …Rather than follow the model of FDR — whose policies raised only Americans’ spirits — President-elect Obama ought to consider the model of Warren G. Harding, whose policies raised Americans’ standard of living, and lifted the nation itself out of a depression — before it had a chance to become Great.

My comments,
Dan is a very nice man. A lot nicer man than I am. He assumes or pretends to assume that Obama and democrats want what is best for America. I would suggest nothing is further from the truth. Democrats know FDR’s policies kept them in power for decades and it was not until 1994 that their stranglehold on power was wrenched from them. Democrats, as Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi noted on several occasions, worship power and Keynesian economics. It’s what they are all about. Power and control over you. Obama and the democrats with the assistance of a lot of republicans, notably George Bush, are turning the United States into a socialist economy as fast as they can.

They bailed out the banks, automotive and next will be the press. Yes a state run media. This is far deeper than socialism it’s totalitarianism. The run up of debt will eventually collapse the dollar and wipe out the middle class. 401K confiscation like what was done in Argentina will wipe out personal savings.

I must give my employer credit for stopping her 401K contributions if for no other reason than her employees will rethink the investment and move the money into a less government plundering vulnerable vehicle.

Millions will be without property or rights. 1984 is about to become reality. There are few educated individuals with the power or education to combat this. All we can hope for is a Battle of Britain scenario where a few brave talented airmen successfully fought off the Third Reich. I don’t really relish doing all this research beyond my regular job. I have four kids in college and an average suburban lifestyle. But I owe it to my children and anyone else out there to report what is happening as long as I am able to.

I think Dan and most economically educated people understand what is going on. It is evident everyday in the stock market results that continue to drop after trillions in bail outs. On the positive side I will include a video comparing the flat tax verses the fair tax from the Center for Prosperity. Well done as always.

Fox, CNN, MSNBC and others refuse ads questioning Obama’s eligibility.

Well this certainly is telling !
The major news organizations are TURNING DOWN advertising bucks?
There is no doubt about it … THE FIX IS IN!

Jan. 9, 2009

On Friday, January 16, a conference is scheduled at the U.S. Supreme Court during which justices will consider behind closed doors—again—taking up a case that could finally put to rest the questions about whether President-elect Barack Obama qualifies to occupy the Oval Office under the Constitution’s requirement that he be a “natural born” citizen.

Lingering questions continue to leave a cloud over the impending presidency of a man whose relatives have reported he was born in Kenya and who has decided, for whatever reason, not to release a bona fide copy of his original birth certificate in its complete form.

When WND columnist Janet Porter when tried to purchase airtime for a 60-second commerical publicizing the eligibility issue, CNBC, MSNBC, Headline News, CNN and Fox all refused to sell her airtime. The ad to be broadcast is available on YouTube.
Janet—who was trying to buy airtime on behalf of her organization, Faith2Action.org—recently raised some of the more significant impacts that could result should eligibility questions continue without answers:

“What if an impostor from another country ran for the presidency and won?” she questioned.
“What if the media blocked any news of his birthplace and citizenship?
What if the media censorship even blocked paid advertising which tried to expose it?
What if no one had the courage to challenge or verify it?
What if he was inaugurated illegally?
What if the military had to answer to a commander in chief who was illegitimate?
What if every law he signed was invalid?”

And, she wonders, “What if it all happened on our watch?”

If you want to chime in on this situation … petition the US Supreme Court:

The Washington freak Show Part VI Barack Obama

January 9, 2009
Posted by Economics9698 @ 0:05 AM

obama4

Barack Hussein Obama II is the President-elect of the United States of America. The first African American to be elected President of the United States, Obama was the junior United States Senator from Illinois in 2004 and served until his resignation on November 16, 2008, following his election to the Presidency. His term of office as the forty-fourth U.S. president will begin on January 20, 2009. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Obama worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney in Chicago before serving three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He also taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, Obama was elected to the Senate in November 2004. Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004.

He allegedly was born in Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii although currently there are as many as 19 law suits challenging his citizenship and trying by court order to have him submit his vaulted copy to a court of law for examination. Obama has spent $800,000 that we know of defending himself from having to provide any direct documentation to a court of law. Seems pretty expensive to us ordinary working stiffs when all he has to do is provide his birth certificate and make all these court proceeding disappear. One thing is know for certain his certificate of live birth, not to be confused with the long form birth certificate, is a horrible forgery. Many experts have gone over it and the basic conclusion is Obama got his half sisters certificate of live birth, washed it and placed his information over it. And this is why he spent $800,000 defending his right not to present the certificate to a court of law. To do so would subject the document to court inspection and subject him to perjury charges. This would mean instant impeachable ammunition and instant weakening of his ability to lead.

Why doesn’t he submit his vaulted copy? It would be open to public scrutiny. What is on the document that is so secret? Different father? Different birth name? Place of birth Kenya? We don’t know and Obama refuses to release the document for public inspection.

dunhamThe story that is most believable is his mother, Ann Dunham, went to Kenya with his father at about six or seven months pregnant. This time line would be consistent for college students getting out of school around the beginning of May. Six months pregnant, beginning to show but easily concealable. It would be the adventure of a lifetime for any 18 year old. Possibly as the reality of life in a poverty stricken third world Muslim country began to wear on her she may have tried to return to America to deliver the baby and was denied a boarding pass due to her pregnant condition. And the baby was delivered in Mombasa, Kenya at least according to Obama’s grandmother, half brother and sister. Since then the Kenyan government has issued a gag order on the family from talking to the press.

All this money and government edicts seem to be a whole lot of hassle and expense for someone with a valid birth certificate. Any rational person at the first sign of a law suit would authorize the release of the vaulted copy of the birth certificate. I certainly would.
One thing is certain. Ann Dunham was registered at the University of Washington for the fall semester of August 1961. Interesting choice of colleges since she reportedly gave birth August 4th, 1961 in Hawaii and had previously attended the University of Hawaii in the fall of 1960. Would most women pick up and change universities with a three week old infant? Possibly what happened was she was in Kenya and registered as a correspondence student for the fall, flew back to Washington, then Hawaii, registered or maybe not registered Obama’s birth, flew back to Washington realizing her short term relationship with the father was over, and resumed her college career. We do know she spent the fall, winter and spring semesters of 1961 and 1962 at the University of Washington.

Ann Dunham married Lolo Soetoro and Barrack was adopted and was reportedly an Indonesian citizen about 1965 or 66. This is possibly how he was able to travel to Pakistan in 1981 when US citizens were banned from travel to that country at that time. It also stands to reason if he had an Indonesian passport under the name Barry Soetoro he was registered at Columbia under the name Barry Soetoro which would also explain why he doesn’t want any records released from Columbia. Not even a picture of his degree.

Obama was placed in the care of his grandparents at the age of 10. Probably the only decent thing his reportedly promiscuous communist mother did for him. In his later writings he worshipped his absentee father as a child. Reading and gleaning information about his mother I can see why. She must have been a horribly neglectful woman concerned with saving the world, satisfying her lust for sex, communism, and group events with strangers over and above her duty to her children as is the case for most liberals.Bad behavior is easily justifiable by the weak, lazy and irrational person by taking up some cause that will save humanity.Communism was Ann Dunham’s cause.
He attended the finest private school in Hawaii just as his children attend the finest private school in Washington DC today. A good lesson for the anti school voucher crowd if there ever was one.

After a stint in junior college as it was called back then Obama transferred to Columbia. Possibly under the name Barry Soetoro. None of his grades were released but I am sure he got nothing less than a B in his core classes. How do I know? I attended college at that time and colleges and universities were doing everything they could to educate and promote black students. When I went to ask about financial aid at the University of South Florida I was told I was the wrong color to receive any aid. For the white males working and the military was the accepted form of aid back then in the early 80’s.If you didn’t have the daddy scholarship to bad, no college for you.The financial aid office at Columbia probably did cartwheels getting Obama every dollar they could.

As for his core curriculum grades two words, political science. For anyone who has attended these political indoctrination sessions the classes are on par with a 5th grade social studied class. Lots of professor opinion about how bad capitalism is and if we could just give people money for nothing the world would be equal and perfect. Any idiot could get strait “A’s” in political science. It’s the preferred degree of lawyer wannabes who need lots of easy classes to boost their GPA for law school entrance and stoners who don’t want to study. Obama would fit in perfectly.

It always astonished most math, business, and engineering students when we graced the halls of these leftist areas of the campus. Like going on academic vacation where you parked your brain, listened to the dogma of the intellectually weak minded, and regurgitated it all back on papers you were required to write. It was like taking three classes and getting the fourth one for free. Minimal study and a few papers. The only thing you needed to pay attention to was the political philosophy of your professor. Was he communist, socialist or fascist? Once you had that figured out it was an easy “A.”

During Obama’s Columbia years he has admitted to using cocaine. Even with financial aid Columbia and living expenses must have been a financial burden. How did he do it? We don’t know but as one from the era he would have been a pretty good mid level coke dealer. Cool, calm demeanor somewhat tough looking with the right clothing accessories and a cigarette in his mouth. We will never know since no one from Columbia, staff or students will talk about him.

And why did he go to Pakistan in 1981? Another financial opportunity or reaffirming his Muslim faith?
Possibly making connections to the future Jihad fighters that would play such an evil role in the coming years.
Maybe someday Barry Soetoro will tell us his secrets.
After graduation Obama was community organizer, going around Chicago pimping government hand outs to the residences and hassling corporations. If they just gave money away for nothing the world would be perfect don’t you know? Why work? Seems to be his philosophy these days with his bail out proposals.

kalid

Eventually he realized he needed a law degree to climb the heap of parasites consuming the blood of the working people of the world. He got the help of Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour former PLO terrorist and spokesperson. No need to work your way through college like Sarah Palin did when you have terrorist connections that will pay your way through school. Work is for idiots and suckers seems to be Obama’s lesson he learned early in life.

He was appointed the president of the Harvard law review and I would venture to guess is the only HLR editor in the history of the publication to never have written a complete article for the publication. He submitted one six page piece that was evaluated as “The temperate legal language doesn’t display the rhetorical heights that run through his memoir, published a few years later, but provides insight into his support for abortion rights and expanded social service.” At Harvard he rode his skin color for all it was worth. Affirmative action “A’s” and even president of the HLR.

And what about his memoir? Dreams From My Father. Obama was given $125,000 from Poseidon a affiliate of Simon & Schuster. After years of mediocrity he reportedly had William Ayers ghost write the book. And had another ghost write his second book which is completely different in style from the first.

This brings up the biggest myth about Obama in the media today. He’s smart. Where is there any evidence of his being smart? Can he write a 5,000 word coherent paper about anything? All his raw writing and normal speech is average or stupid at best. Has anyone recorded or have in print something original to him?

No he’s not smart. If he was smart he would have opted for that engineering or doctor’s degree. Or at the very least showed some brilliance like his father did in getting a minor in math. It’s not that unusual for young minds interested in Bachelor of Arts studies to cross over to math or science for a few classes to prove they are brilliant. I have seen a psychology student taking physics as an elective for just that reason. It makes a statement and garners respect.

His cap and trade energy policy is strait out of a text book. His bail out and “tax cuts” are strait out of the communist manifesto and John Maynard Keynes books of just giving the money away for nothing and liquidity trap theory. The New Preamble of the Constitution and Bill of NO_rights.

This is probably the best e-mail I’ve seen in a long, long time. The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. If true this guy should run for President one day…

‘We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights.’

ARTICLE I:
You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II:
You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone — not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III:
You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:
You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:
You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we’re just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:
You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don’t be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII:
You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don’t be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won’t have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:
>You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. AMEN and AMEN

ARTICLE IX:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X:
This is an English speaking country . We don’t care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!

Lastly ARTICLE XI:
You do not have the right to change our country’s history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!

A Prayer at the Western Wall

January 7, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 10:33 AM

western-wallA female CNN journalist heard about a very old Jewish man who had been going to the Western Wall to pray, twice a day, every day, for a long, long time.

So she went to check it out. She went to the Western Wall and there he was, walking slowly up to the holy site.

She watched him pray and after about 45 minutes, when he turned to leave, using a cane and moving very slowly, she approached him for an interview.

‘Pardon me, sir, I’m Rebecca Smith from CNN. What’s your name?

‘Morris Fishbein,’ he replied.

‘Sir, how long have you been coming to the Western Wall and praying?’*

‘For about 60 years.’

‘60 years! That’s amazing! What do you pray for?’

‘I pray for peace between the Christians, Jews and the Muslims.’ I pray for all the wars and all the hatred to stop. I pray for all our children to grow up safely as responsible adults, and to love their fellow man.’

‘How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?’

‘Like I’m talking to a f****’ wall.

The Israeli Solution

January 6, 2009
Posted by Economics9698 @ 14:04 PM

Here we go again. Another Israeli Arab war. How many is this? More than enough. The United States has armed Israel, Saudi Arabia, fought Iraq, Afghanistan, paid huge sums to Israel ($2.4 billion per year) and Egypt ($1.7 billion per year), negotiated, pleaded and all for nothing. Here we are 60 years later and the Middle East is still at war. Israel may well have to take over Gaza once again like it did from Egypt in 1967.

In the past before the 1987 intifada the cost of administering Gaza was surprisingly low. In 1994 the Palestine Authority was created to administer the area and in 2005 Israel pulled out. Since then Iran and Hamas have taken control and the situation is as costly as ever. Hopefully with this latest incursion Hama will be eliminated as a military threat and the dull costly process of administering to the needs of the residents will resume.

So how is peace achieved?

First go back to 1948. Where there residences of the area that were forced to leave their homes and businesses without just compensation? If yes then pay them or the surviving family members’ just compensation plus 60 year interest. Fair is fair.

Second build an underground tunnel between Gaza and the West Bank. This would be an easy engineering feat and would allow Israel full use of its land.

Third does Israel want to maintain control of Jerusalem? Parts of Gaza and the West Bank? Fine pay for it. Negotiate with Egypt and Jordan for the purchase of land to compensate the residences of Gaza and the West Bank for any lost land. With all that Middle East and United States money in the till I am sure some arrangement could be made. I would suspect Egypt might be very pleased to part with some acreage for a few billion and the end of this headache.

Treating this as a business transaction, eliminating religion and politics is how this problem should have been handled in 1948. You want someone’s house and land? Fine, pay them for it.

Funny Business in Minnesota

From:
Wall Street Journal Opinion January 5, 2009

franken2Strange things keep happening in Minnesota, where the disputed recount in the Senate race between Norm Coleman and Al Franken may be nearing a dubious outcome. Thanks to the machinations of Democratic Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and a meek state Canvassing Board, Mr. Franken may emerge as an illegitimate victor.

Mr. Franken started the recount 215 votes behind Senator Coleman, but he now claims a 225-vote lead and suddenly the man who was insisting on “counting every vote” wants to shut the process down. He’s getting help from Mr. Ritchie and his four fellow Canvassing Board members, who have delivered inconsistent rulings and are ignoring glaring problems with the tallies.

Under Minnesota law, election officials are required to make a duplicate ballot if the original is damaged during Election Night counting. Officials are supposed to mark these as “duplicate” and segregate the original ballots. But it appears some officials may have failed to mark ballots as duplicates, which are now being counted in addition to the originals. This helps explain why more than 25 precincts now have more ballots than voters who signed in to vote. By some estimates this double counting has yielded Mr. Franken an additional 80 to 100 votes.

This disenfranchises Minnesotans whose vote counted only once. And one Canvassing Board member, State Supreme Court Justice G. Barry Anderson, has acknowledged that “very likely there was a double counting.” Yet the board insists that it lacks the authority to question local officials and it is merely adding the inflated numbers to the totals.

In other cases, the board has been flagrantly inconsistent. Last month, Mr. Franken’s campaign charged that one Hennepin County (Minneapolis) precinct had “lost” 133 votes, since the hand recount showed fewer ballots than machine votes recorded on Election Night. Though there is no proof to this missing vote charge — officials may have accidentally run the ballots through the machine twice on Election Night — the Canvassing Board chose to go with the Election Night total, rather than the actual number of ballots in the recount. That decision gave Mr. Franken a gain of 46 votes.

Meanwhile, a Ramsey County precinct ended up with 177 more ballots than there were recorded votes on Election Night. In that case, the board decided to go with the extra ballots, rather than the Election Night total, even though the county is now showing more ballots than voters in the precinct. This gave Mr. Franken a net gain of 37 votes, which means he’s benefited both ways from the board’s inconsistency.

And then there are the absentee ballots. The Franken campaign initially howled that some absentee votes had been erroneously rejected by local officials. Counties were supposed to review their absentees and create a list of those they believed were mistakenly rejected. Many Franken-leaning counties did so, submitting 1,350 ballots to include in the results. But many Coleman-leaning counties have yet to complete a re-examination. Despite this lack of uniformity, and though the state Supreme Court has yet to rule on a Coleman request to standardize this absentee review, Mr. Ritchie’s office nonetheless plowed through the incomplete pile of 1,350 absentees this weekend, padding Mr. Franken’s edge by a further 176 votes.

Both campaigns have also suggested that Mr. Ritchie’s office made mistakes in tabulating votes that had been challenged by either of the campaigns. And the Canvassing Board appears to have applied inconsistent standards in how it decided some of these challenged votes — in ways that, again on net, have favored Mr. Franken.

The question is how the board can certify a fair and accurate election result given these multiple recount problems. Yet that is precisely what the five members seem prepared to do when they meet today. Some members seem to have concluded that because one of the candidates will challenge the result in any event, why not get on with it and leave it to the courts? Mr. Coleman will certainly have grounds to contest the result in court, but he’ll be at a disadvantage given that courts are understandably reluctant to overrule a certified outcome.

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s other Senator, Amy Klobuchar, is already saying her fellow Democrats should seat Mr. Franken when the 111th Congress begins this week if the Canvassing Board certifies him as the winner. This contradicts Minnesota law, which says the state cannot award a certificate of election if one party contests the results. Ms. Klobuchar is trying to create the public perception of a fait accompli, all the better to make Mr. Coleman look like a sore loser and build pressure on him to drop his legal challenge despite the funny recount business.

Minnesotans like to think that their state isn’t like New Jersey or Louisiana, and typically it isn’t. But we can’t recall a similar recount involving optical scanning machines that has changed so many votes, and in which nearly every crucial decision worked to the advantage of the same candidate. The Coleman campaign clearly misjudged the politics here, and the apparent willingness of a partisan like Mr. Ritchie to help his preferred candidate, Mr. Franken. If the Canvassing Board certifies Mr. Franken as the winner based on the current count, it will be anointing a tainted and undeserving Senator.

As predicted by myself on 11-19-08. This is dictatorship. Get use to it or fight.

Another election rip off this time by Al Franken?

January 5, 2009

Here we go again another recount debacle.

The Minnesota senate recount could have been prevented with technology. Every kid on the street has an IPOD but Minnesota can not afford electronic voting machines which could have stopped the inane fights over pen marks on ballots. There has never been any proof, or even any credible allegations for that matter, of electronic voting machines resulting in voter fraud. So why after Florida does Minnesota find themselves with this senatorial race a comedy of errors?

This is a travesty.
When are the citizens going to stand up and insist their votes count. Pulling mysterious votes out of thin air by looser’s to rip off an election is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

frankenBy TRENT ENGLAND
Olympia, Wash.

Sorry Minnesota, but the sequel is never as good as the original.

For those who watched the Washington State governor’s race recounts in 2004, the ongoing recount drama in Minnesota is just another rehash of the same script — albeit for a U.S. Senate seat that might put Democrats one vote away from a filibuster-proof majority.

Four years ago in Washington, Democratic Party candidate Christine Gregoire lost the first count, lost the recount, and then won a second, highly dubious recount by 133 votes. In Minnesota, where Sen.

Norm Coleman is defending his seat against comedian-turned-candidate Al Franken, the first count showed Mr. Coleman up 725 votes. Today, thanks to another dubious recount, Mr. Franken is apparently in the lead.

Razor-thin margins like these put election systems to the test. As the old proverb goes, they are a crisis and an opportunity. Yet the crises keep coming and the opportunities continue to be squandered. It’s time to learn the lessons of the recount wars and address the systemic flaws in our election processes. Indeed, the price of a continued decline in voter confidence is too troubling for most Americans to comprehend.

In Washington’s 2004 gubernatorial election, at least 1,392 felons illegally voted, 252 provisional ballots were wrongly counted, and 19 votes were cast from beyond the grave, according to Chelan County Superior Court Judge John Bridges’s opinion in a case brought by Dino Rossi, Ms. Gregoire’s Republican opponent.

Election workers in King County (where Seattle is located) “enhanced” 55,177 ballots to make it easier for tabulating machines to read them — even though the county had failed to establish written procedures as required by state law. In some cases, individual election workers modified voted ballots using black felt markers and white-out tape while observers were kept at a distance that prevented meaningful observation. Nine separate times, King County “discovered” and counted unsecured ballots.

Nevertheless, Ms. Gregoire lost to Mr. Rossi by 261 votes.

An automatic recount reduced Mr. Rossi’s lead to just 42 votes. The Gregoire campaign demanded a state-wide hand recount, a time-consuming and expensive process that state law says the challenger must pay for (if the result changes, the challenger is reimbursed). Big labor unions joined with far-left groups like MoveOn.org to put up the money for Ms. Gregoire’s third-time’s-the-charm ballot shuffle.

During the recount process, five counties found new, uncounted, unsecured ballots and added them into their totals. King County officials admitted publicly that ballot reconciliation reports were falsified in an attempt to conceal variations between the number of votes counted and the number of voters who voted (two elections workers were disciplined as a result).

By the end, 3,539 votes more than the number of voters who voted were tabulated. Four other swing counties provided an additional 4,880 mystery ballots. Ms. Gregoire was the victor by a margin of 133 votes.

That margin — 133 votes — happens to be the same number of ballots that Minneapolis election officials are currently missing. The initial vote tally in one Democrat-leaning precinct counted 133 more ballots than officials have been able to find for the Senate recounts. The Minnesota canvassing board decided on Dec. 12 to allow Minneapolis simply to ignore the recount and go with the original number. This provided a 46-vote boost for Mr. Franken, about the same as his current projected lead. The board also “requested” that counties reconsider rejected absentee ballots, a new and novel part of the recount procedure that is also expected to favor Mr. Franken.

Something is wrong when a victorious candidate owes more thanks to vote counters than to voters. Such was the case in Washington in 2004, and Minnesota is poised to follow in its footsteps in 2008.

It need not be this way. After 2004, the Evergreen Freedom Foundation produced a 42-page report offering a dozen solutions. While a few were implemented, most were simply ignored by officials content to cross their fingers and hope the next close election is in someone else’s jurisdiction.

Some reforms are simply educational and cultural; others are fundamental and essential. Election officials need to understand current federal and state laws and regulations governing the entire election process, including recounts. Those responsible for elections must also inculcate a culture of compliance among election staff, including temporary staff hired at election time.

From the moment they are printed, ballots should be isolated and guarded and their chain of custody recorded. Officials with rule-making authority are responsible for establishing processes that clarify how ballots are to be handled, stored, counted, and, if necessary, recounted.

Most important to maintaining and increasing public faith in elections is improving openness, especially leveraging Internet technology to make anyone a potential election observer. The Minneapolis Star Tribune’s project to put all 6,700 contested ballots in the Senate race on the Web, so people can compare their own judgments to those of the canvassing board, is but one example. Election officials who have nothing to hide should be putting as much as possible online as quickly as possible.

Citizens and the media might also take a closer look at some of the individuals and organizations involved in monkeying with and even overturning elections. Both Mr. Franken and Ms. Gregoire were endorsed by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — Acorn — a group under investigation in several states for suspected voter registration chicanery.

The man overseeing the Senate recount, Minnesota Secretary of State
Mark Ritchie, was also endorsed by Acorn, and his election campaign in 2006 was funded in part by something called “The Secretary of State Project.” This latter group, founded by MoveOn.org’s former grass-roots director, exists solely to install far-left candidates as secretaries of state in swing states.

Close elections will always stir controversy. They will often require recounts to validate the results. Yet the Washington and Minnesota recounts offer cautionary tales. The democratic process is too important to be disregarded until a virtual tie forces us to pay attention. Regardless of which candidates win our elections, the voters — not the vote counters — should win every time.

Why is Obama hiding his records?

January 4, 2009
Posted by clinicalthinker @ 23:54 PM

Once I really started paying attention to Barack Obama and what was or was not being said about him I found the lack of TRUE confirmed information astounding.

Barack Obama essentially has no history other than that he has made up for himself. Because he has sealed his records and refuses to provide even the bare essentials required by law to become President of the USA. “We the people” literally know nothing about him.

This is disturbing on a number of levels.
Why the secrecy?
I can think of no reason that is positive can you?

Here are a few clips addressing the issues.

As we move forward now to the inauguration of Barack Obama we still do not know much about him.

He refuses to produce even the key information which proves him eligible for this office. There is grave doubt that he is a “natural born citizen”. That is a basic requirement to even be considered for this high office in our USA. Why does he refuse to provide this information?

Those required to insist this information be made public fail to do so.
Why?
There is only one answer that at this point is logical.
He can not and is not.

“We the people” are left clueless as usual.

Federal Elections Commission Report for 2008

January 3, 2009
Posted by Economics9698 @ 1:36 AM

The Federal Election Commission is made up of six board members. Three Democrats and three Republicans. It takes a majority vote to investigate campaign finance fraud.

Pictured are Cynthia L. Bauerly, Caroline C. Hunter, Ellen L. Weintraub and Steven T. Walther.
Not pictured are Donald F. McGahn II and Matthew S. Petersen.

The 2008 election is over. Democrats dominated like George Soros and the Democrats predicted. How did they dominate? In a nutshell they adopted the radical statement “by any means necessary.” Another way of saying we just had a coup where the Republicans were blind sided and weak. This was a guerrilla fight where the Democrats totally ignored the rule of law and the Republicans were still playing by the rules. A big sucker punch. And the results showed it.

First was the financial blow out. The Democrats seem to be well liked by the rich and famous as well as foreign citizens looking for a weaker United States. The bottom line is in 2008 Democrats garnered 64% of the $1,666.2 million in political contributions. The Republicans 36%. Quite a contrast to the propaganda spread throughout the country. Apparently not enough fat cats are contributing to Republicans these days.
Obama received 44.5% of the total contributions. McCain received 20.7%. Obama received an astonishing $741.7 million and 68% of all donations. An astonishing two to one spending gap over McCain’s equally astonishing $345.6 million in donations.

Quit a stark contrast to the 2004 campaign. In 2004 Bush received $258.9 million to Kerry’s $233.9 million. A relatively balanced 52.5% to 47.5%. Democrats raised $400.6 million to Republicans $258.9 million. The total of $662 million is a paltry 40% of the 2008 total of $1,666.2 million. The difference is an astonishing $1004.3 million dollars. To look at it another way the candidates raised 150% more money in 2008. The Democrats raised 166% more contributions from 2004 to 2008 while the Republicans raised 132% more. But the gab in fund raising changed from $141.7 million to $467.2 million in favor of the Democrats.

Political Action Committee (PAC) donations were a paltry 0.4% of all donations. The largest contributors were under $200 dollar donations where the donors address and location are not required to be reported to the Federal Election Commission. 40.4% of all donations in 2008 were untraceable under $200 donations. The second largest donor group was over $2,000 that compromised 28.5% of donations. This under $200 money could have come from overseas or donors contributing over the maximum limit. With current financing laws nobody will ever know.

A further look back at 2000 shows Bush with $94.5 million and Gore with $49.2 million. Republicans increased donations 266% and Democrats 1,400% in eight years. Statistically impossible numbers for donors in the United States. The vote count from 2000 to 2004 went up 12% and from 2004 to 2008 the vote increased 2%. Even with 15 million new voters in eight years, even with smaller donors fired up over Obama’s campaign; these numbers make no sense at all. This was a complete break down in campaign financing law.

In 1996 Clinton received about $43 million and Dole about $45 million. Clearly it seems the less campaign financing reform the better. Evidently McCain-Feingold left a huge hole in campaign financing the size of a Saturn rocket. Obama and the Democrats most likely received $400 million and as high as $537 million from who knows where. Another example of unintended consequences and another reason there should be no campaign financing laws except contributions must be from US citizens and US corporations.

My guess is a lot of money came from the Middle East, Europe and Africa. The BBC recorded one of these campaign finance raising sessions in Gaza City. Obama shirts were sold throughout the world and I would speculate the money was sent to eastern states, placed in pre paid credit cards in sums less than $200 and donated to Obama and the Democrats. Various Internet cops have photographed themselves giving donations in the name of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other fictitious names and addresses to the Obama campaign. Addresses like London, England, Berlin, Germany and so forth. When these Internet cops tried the same tactics with the McCain camp the donations were refused.

So we end up with a most likely ex-Muslim sympathizing Mombasa, Kenyan born president who should have been exposed years ago owning the Democratic Party and the United States for a paltry $500 million dollars. Last time I checked the Gross Domestic Product of the United States was $13,807.5 billion. So for 0.003% of our GDP we now are beholden to a foreign president and foreign interest. The Democrats peace offering is they will be fine in 2012 if Arnold Swarzenager runs for president.
Like we care.
Is Swarzenager even a Republican anymore?

When I was in graduate school it always amazed me when I researched political graft such as the sugar industry how little money it took to bribe politicians and how huge the pay offs would be. For the sugar industry if I recall correctly for every dollar in political donations the industry received $20 to $100 dollars in political protection from foreign competition. It would appear that this last election was the biggest political pay off in the history of the world.

At the federal level is abundantly clear a Libertarian government is what the founding fathers favored. They had been through political graft, corruption and foreign born leaders running their countries via the system of royal marriage prevalent back in the 18th century. The federal government is incapable of anything but the most basic exercise of military and courts. The founding fathers had been through the corruption and did everything they could to limit the federal government.
And now we repeat history. The part of history the founding fathers wanted to avoid.

We have regulations of corporations with Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and our banks failed. We had the Securities and Exchange Commission regulating Wall Street and Bernard Madoff ripped off investors’ $50 billion in a ponzi scheme. We had congressional oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and they both are insolvent. And we have the Federal Elections Commission regulating campaign financing and we end up with the most lopsided fraudulently funded election in history. Federal regulation and regulation in general never work and will never work. Crooks don’t care about the law. We can write all the laws and regulations we want and the only people adversely affected by them will be the honest citizens.

Simple transparent rules work best. Here is a couple for campaign financing.

  • First all contributions must have a valid US citizen or US corporations name and address of an eligible voter or corporation traceable and verifiable by the FEC.
  • Second there are no limits on the amount of the donation.
  • Third all donations must be reported to the FEC.

Problem solved.
Transparency achieved.
The Libertarian solution is always the best solution.

Other areas of Republican defeat was federally funded ACORN, a Democratic voter fraud scheme designed to overwhelm local election boards with fraudulent registrations and more importantly to disguise illegal alien and convicted felon voters. The more time the local precinct workers spend on fraudulent voter registrations the less time spent on illegal and felon registered voters. Confuse and conquer.

The Democrats in 2004 perfected the methods of increasing voter turn out and stealing close elections. The Wall Street Journal documented the stealing of the 2004 Washington State governors race recently and the same game plan is working in the Minnesota senator race for the clown Al Franken. The Democrats also work feverishly in their districts after the polls close to get additional voted from voters who didn’t show up to the polls by voting for them. Franklin Delano Roosevelt would be proud.

These guerrilla take no prisoner tactics are favored by communist and fascist the worlds over. 2008 was the death of the Republic and the beginning of the dictatorship. And the Republicans are still clueless. They don’t fight or protest. A complete waste of a party. The Democrats with the exception of the Obama insiders seem equally clueless and have no idea of the perils and tribulations ahead of them. They seem stick in 1996 Clinton la la land. Both parties regulated by McCain-Feingold to trash junk bond status. $500 million dollars goes a long way when you know how to spend it.

Just ask George Soros.
