Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has started a petition to send to Obama to end the funding of ACORN.

U.S. Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, the top Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, is demanding a straight up-or-down vote on a bill dedicated to removing ACORN from the list of recipients of federal largesse, or says he’ll force the issue.

And a key conservative vote, U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., says unless there is such an action, it will mean the recent votes on that very issue were nothing but “cover.”

If I write that 28.6% of blacks, 16.7% of Hispanics, 4.4% of whites and 1.1% of Asians end up in jail is that racist? If I write Asians have an average Q of 101, whites 100, Hispanics 93 and blacks 85 is that racist? Or would it be stating the facts as compiled by the Department of Justice and every IQ test ever devised?

The simple truth is racism is a belief of one race in its superiority over other races. Blacks fit this mold better than any other group in America. In my experience and the continued controversy over the subject in America blacks and their party, the Democratic Party, can’t let race drop . It doesn’t matter that since 1962 blacks have achieved equality based on their potential and IQ. It doesn’t matter that million and billions have been spent on affirmative action and inner city development. It doesn’t matter that America has kissed the black ass for 30 years and counting. It doesn’t matter to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats. America will always be racist and to hell with reality.

The reality is America has spent billions in the black community, discriminated against white in every aspect of government and the private sector, demonized white people and played the race card for the last frigging time. It ends here and now.

White America is feed up with paying out of our pocket for bull crap that never works and gets incompetents positions of power and authority. President Obama is exhibit #1. Does anyone in their right mind think he is anywhere near Bill Clintons intellect? Can he change his narrow ideological view of the world on a dime like Bill? Hell no! He’s a teleprompter reading ideological dolt wedded to his Marxist philosophy. He’s a 95 IQ affirmative action dolt passed along at Columbia and Harvard to inflict the indoctrination session he received onto the rest of the nation. The guy is one of the dumbest presidents to ever parade around in the oval office.

To be fair Bush was no brainer either. Nor Ronald Reagan. But Bush and Reagan compromised, some would say more than compromised, with the opposition. Both had enough smarts to do what they wanted to do. Bush won in Iraq. Reagan won the cold war. Like them or hate them they achieved victory and made America a safer place. Obama so far has displayed none of these characteristics.

This weekend Obama will go on all the major networks except Fox to push government health care. Why? He’s a communist at heart and cannot bring himself to acknowledge or dignify the press operation he would like to shut down. It’s that simple. Bill O’Reilly hypostatizes that it is because Obama is immature. Bull crap. Obama is a communist at heart and will go down with the ship before he concedes an inch to freedom and liberty. That’s the truth.

What do I think? White America better frigging wake up and real soon or all those crime free suburbs will be history. All those nice suburban crime free schools will be history. All those kids going to college will be history. Communism doesn’t allow for such bourgeoisie pursuits of happiness. All must be for the state and all else is discarded. Kiss the black man’s and men of colors ass all you white people is the object of this administration. Is this racist or reality? So far it’s Obama’s reality and the white folks are starting to get the message.

This is simply one more example of our corrupt government ripping off its citizenry in favor of a minority special interest few.

Hopefully SOON “we the people” will again have control over those who clearly forgot they get paid by us.

I am a native born Californian living in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley and also a RECOVERING ENVIRONMENTAL & POLITICAL ACTIVIST. I was in the environmental part of it for 4 years. Like most of us who left that environmental movement it was because what originally needed a nudge back to an equilibrium marched to a full blown over the top, over the edge outrageous attack against the good of man. So yes the Environmentalists have turned WHACKO. I got out when a farmer in the southern part of the valley had his farm confiscated because he ACCIDENTALLY ran over an endangered mouse with his tractor. Enough was enough for me.

Today I remain on the Political side of things screaming my head off almost daily about the rampant corruption in BOTH PARTIES of our Government.

From this to this!

This has been agricultural land from the moment water was drilled down to or pumped in.
The valley is futile and produces milk, cream, grapes, rice, sugar beets, nursery products, lettuce, cattle, hay, strawberries, tomatoes, cotton, almonds and fruit varieties (to many to name).

This summer there have been 7 attempts made to congress asking the valley pumps be turned back on. EVERY SINGLE TIME Nancy Pelosi had KILLED those attempts. All of this in favor of the delta smelt (above) which may or may not go extinct.

YOU CAN BET if these were her husbands vineyards being turned into fallow grounds those pumps would have been flowing months ago.
Meanwhile as she stands before congress telling lies, stuttering and trying hard to shed a tear OF FAUX FEAR about the shouts of people who are being screwed (without a kiss) by her and her cohorts. One of the bread baskets of the world dries up.

This could solve this immediately!

This story is rife with those circumstances … there are agreements to allow land to grow fallow while someone is paid anyway, there is selling off water rights because they thought they would not be needed, there are legal as well as illegal workers being laid off, a 3 year draught, and a Republican judge and President putting all of this into play THIS TIME.
So what is the true problem?

You can not govern good character.
Somewhere along the way ethics have been abandoned.

There will always be that big business owner (NOT ALL BY ANY MEANS) who will screw his mother for an extra buck.
We have seen it in so many of late. It starts on the level of ENRON and filters to the bottom of the chain. SO AND SO does it and did not get caught IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE for bad/corrupt/illegal behavior.
The government can not govern this … much of the time they do not even try.

The activist groups have turned either WHACKO or corrupt … PETA is one such renegade example. Perhaps the public needs to quit donating their hard earned dollars to SOMEONE else to speak and act for them.
Like with ACORN we probably should focus on disbanding these groups and start over.
At least we would have a respite to get back somewhere near center.

A U.S. Army veteran, a retired attorney, a published author of three books, freelance writer, and teacher of law courses via the Internet through colleges and universities worldwide.

Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.

To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying. The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of the medical profession.

The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats and most of them will not be health care professionals. Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled.

However, as scary as all of that it, it just scratches the surface. In fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted, major portions of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have been destroyed.

This Obama approval stuff is enough to give one whip lash.
With the Presidents speech last Wednesday his approval rating according to Rasmussen went from 45% to 52% … VERY NICE!
By today (a week later) they have dived to 42% … HOLY CRAP!

I have talked about this before but I think its worth a mention again.
This is not JUST OVER OBAMACARE.
Obamacare was just the trigger that kicked everything into high gear.
It was the light that made “we the people” dig a little deeper and they were staggered and sickened at what they saw.

The TRUTH is simple.

Anyone with a rational functioning brain caught on long ago what was going on in the Media (even before Bernie Goldberg came out with his “SLOBBERING LOVE AFFAIR” book) .

These news organizations should have been relabeled long ago as LAZY TALKING AIR-HEADS.
The real news media might have drifted away with the retirement of Edward R. Murrow.

From my perspective of “lets call a spade a spade” without frills attached … there is only one guy left on the scene that remains totally center of the road.

That is BILL O’REILLY … my concept of him is simple … he is an equal opportunity BASHER!

Not so much for material on this blog but just to see what is going on and why.
EXACTLY what makes someone tick.

I am actually AMAZED at what I run into.

For instance:
A majority of the opposition who HATE O’Reilly dismiss him with an adamant “HE LIES”.

Funny … I have come up with a whole new cipher for decoding what people actually mean. I do have to take into consideration who is saying what to/about whom in applying this method of unraveling what is actually being said however.

So in this case … HE LIES … means: … “I do not listen but I HEAR that he does not agree with my side so HE LIES.” WOW! that is true rational logical conclusion for the truly ignorant … don’t you think?

I remain awestruck at the “usually intelligent” individuals that are polarized into this opinion of the O’Reilly program.
I watch the guy almost every night.
I do not agree with all that I see but I KNOW it is at LEAST on the square.

Somewhere in my education of LONG AGO I was taught to think for myself. I know it is a novel and interesting concept today … especially for a large majority of the young.

Apparently that is a concept long squashed and replaced with the new “POLLY PARROT MODE”.

In my opinion Bill O’Reilly news is the way TRUE NEWS NEEDS TO BE PRESENTED.

This I don’t like what he says = therefore he lies (without actually checking out the facts themselves) puts them in a “new ignorant class of Lemmings” that we all need to consider then IGNORE.

Personally I have adopted an brand new mindset for these individuals.
That is … GO AWAY!
WHY?
Because to argue with flat out ignorance is a waste of everyone’s time (personally I really have little I choose to waste).
Someone who has checked out the facts and wants to argue/debate THOSE FACTS is totally another issue.
We can agree to disagree.

In the end IGNORANCE IS A WASTE that can be changed at will … so those who choose not deserve no time or respect.

So its time to grab the bull by the horns … call a spade a spade and start separating the wheat from the chaff.
Then understanding that what we use to call news is simply outright propaganda or worthless commentary.

Foisted onto the public by someone:

1. Not as well informed as the average Joe on the street.
2. Clue less about what the public wants or thinks.
3. Is promoting the agenda of others for self gain.
4. In hopes “we the people” are to stupid to figure it all out.
5. Who is truly a flat out liar!

So each of us are left to take a cold hard look at the facts.
Get in touch with your own personal right and wrong.
Be ready to stand beside those of like mind and team up against those who wish to snatch your freedom from under your nose.

I have been sitting quietly on the sidelines watching all of this national debate on healthcare. It is time for me to bring some clarity to the table by explaining many of the problems from the perspective of a doctor.

First off, the government has involved very few of us physicians in the healthcare debate. While the American Medical Association has come out in favor of the plan, it is vital to remember that the AMA only represents 17% of the American physician workforce.

I have taken care of Medicaid patients for 35 years while representing the only pediatric ophthalmology group left in Atlanta, Georgia that accepts Medicaid. For example, in the past 6 months I have cared for three young children on Medicaid who had corneal ulcers. This is a potentially blinding situation because if the cornea perforates from the infection, almost surely blindness will occur. In all three cases the antibiotic needed for the eradication of the infection was not on the approved Medicaid list.

Each time I was told to fax Medicaid for the approval forms, which I did. Within 48 hours the form came back to me which was sent in immediately via fax, and I was told that I would have my answer in 10 days. Of course by then each child would have been blind in the eye.

Each time the request came back denied. All three times I personally provided the antibiotic for each patient which was not on the Medicaid approved list. Get the point — rationing of care.

Over the past 35 years I have cared for over 1000 children born with congenital cataracts. In older children and in adults the vision is rehabilitated with an intraocular lens. In newborns we use contact lenses which are very expensive. It takes Medicaid over one year to approve a contact lens post cataract surgery. By that time a successful anatomical operation is wasted as the child will be close to blind from a lack of focusing for so long a period of time.

Again, extreme rationing. Solution: I have a foundation here in Atlanta supported 100% by private funds which supplies all of these contact lenses for my Medicaid and illegal immigrants children for free. Again, waiting for the government would be disastrous.

Last week I had a lady bring her child to me. They are Americans but live in Sweden, as the father has a job with a big corporation. The child had the onset of double vision 3 months ago and has been unable to function normally because of this. They are people of means but are waiting 8 months to see the ophthalmologist in Sweden. Then if the child needed surgery they would be put on a 6 month waiting list. She called me and I saw her that day. It turned out that the child had accommodative esotropia (crossing of the eyes treated with glasses that correct for farsightedness) and responded to glasses within 4 days, so no surgery was needed. Again, rationing of care.

Last month I operated on a 70 year old lady with double vision present for 3 years. She responded quite nicely to her surgery and now is symptom free. I also operated on a 69 year old judge with vertical double vision. His surgery went very well and now he is happy as a lark. I have been told — but of course there is no healthcare bill that has been passed yet — that these 2 people because of their age would have been denied surgery and just told to wear a patch over one eye to alleviate the symptoms of double vision. Obviously cheaper than surgery.

I spent two year in the US Navy during the Viet Nam war and was well treated by the military. There was tremendous rationing of care and we were told specifically what things the military personnel and their dependents could have and which things they could not have. While I was in Viet Nam, my wife Nancy got sick and got essentially no care at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. She went home and went to her family’s private internist in Beverly Hills. While it was expensive, she received an immediate work up. Again rationing of care.

For those of you who are over 65, this bill in its present form might be lethal for you. People in Britain face rationing of care in that there is an eight month wait for cataract surgery, 11 for hernia and the same for disc and total hip The government wants to mimic the British plan. For those of you younger, it will still mean restriction of the care that you and your children receive.

While 99% of physicians went into medicine because of the love of medicine and the challenge of helping our fellow man, economics are still important. My rent goes up 2% each year and the salaries of my employees go up 2% each year. Twenty years ago, ophthalmologists were paid $1800 for a cataract surgery and today $500. This is a 73% decrease in our fees. I do not know of many jobs in America that have seen this sort of lowering of fees.

But there is more to the story than just the lower fees. When I came to Atlanta, there was a well known ophthalmologist that charged $2500 for a cataract surgery as he felt the was the best. He had a terrific reputation and in fact I had my mother’s bilateral cataracts operated on by him with a wonderful result. She is now 94 and has 20/20 vision in both eyes. People would pay his $2500 fee.

However, then the government came in and said that any doctor that does Medicare work cannot accept more than the going rate ( now $500) or he or she would be severely fined. This put an end to his charging $2500. The government said it was illegal to accept more than the government-allowed rate. What I am driving at is that those of you well off will not be able to go to the head of the line under this new healthcare plan, just because you have money, as no physician will be willing to go against the law to treat you.

I am a pediatric ophthalmologist and trained for 10 years post-college to become a pediatric ophthalmologist (add two years of my service in the Navy and that comes to 12 years).A neurosurgeon spends 14 years post -college, and if he or she has to do the military that would be 16 years. I am not entitled to make what a neurosurgeon makes, but the new plan calls for all physicians to make the same amount of payment. I assure you that medical students will not go into neurosurgery and we will have a tremendous shortage of neurosurgeons. Already, the top neurosurgeon at my hospital who is in good health and only 52 years old has just quit because he can’t stand working with the government anymore. Forty-nine percent of children under the age of 16 in the state of Georgia are on Medicaid, so he felt he just could not stand working with the bureaucracy anymore.

We are being lied to about the uninsured. They are getting care. I operate at least 2 illegal immigrants each month who pay me nothing, and the children’s hospital at which I operate charges them nothing also.This is true not only on Atlanta, but of every community in America.

The bottom line is that I urge all of you to contact your congresswomen and congressmen and senators to defeat this bill. I promise you that you will not like rationing of your own health.

Furthermore, how can you trust a physician that works under these conditions knowing that he is controlled by the state. I certainly could not trust any doctor that would work under these draconian conditions.

One last thing: with this new healthcare plan there will be a tremendous shortage of physicians. It has been estimated that approximately 5% of the current physician work force will quit under this new system. Also it is estimated that another 5% shortage will occur because of the decreased number of men and women wanting to go into medicine. At the present time the US government has mandated gender equity in admissions to medical schools .That means that for the past 15 years that somewhere between 49 and 51% of each entering class are females. This is true of private schools also, because all private schools receive federal funding.

The average career of a woman in medicine now is only 8-10 years and the average work week for a female in medicine is only 3-4 days. I have now trained 35 fellows in pediatric ophthalmology. Hands down the best was a female that I trained 4 years ago — she was head and heels above all others I have trained. She now practices only 3 days a week.

It seems Maxine Waters wants to find out what the “tea baggers” or the “birthers” have to say for themselves. She wants the journalists to just get out there and interview them.

Well perhaps Ms. Waters needs to do that little job for herself.
