When is ENOUGH ENOUGH?

Charlie Rangel has been under investigation for ethics violations now for how long?
Those allegations include being a tax cheat among a myriad other equally serious allegations?

A quote from Richard Cohen of the Washington Post on 9/15/2009:

“There is something wrong with Charlie Rangel. Either he did not notice that he was worth about twice as much as he said he was — which is downright worrisome in a congressional leader — or he thinks that he’s above the law which is downright worrisome in a congressional leader.”

For those who do not know the name Charlie Rangel … he is the Chairman of the Ways and Means Comittee … you know those who write tax code?

Today John Carters (R-TX) resolution (Remove Rangel resolution, 243-156) in the house for Rangel to be temporarily stripped of his chairmanship was QUASHED by house democrats.

Meanwhile Rangel buddy Maxine Waters (D-CA) tossed in the ragged defense everyone else does it.

“I want to tell you, there are many members who, if you go back over all of their records, over all of the years, you’re going to find that there were disclosures that were not made,” Waters said during an appearance on MSNBC Wednesday morning.

Should it be any surprise that our government is corrupt to the core when you realize this is the mindset and operating practice of so many in congress?

We need to start tossing those MANY MEMBERS out too.

How about starting with Ms. Waters and do-nothing but simle and lie Nancy Pelosi … after all CA has the power of RECALL

Final vote tabling Carter’s resolution to remove Rangel from W&M chairmanship: 243-156. 19 voted present.
3 REPUBLICANS joined the Democrats … they are King (NY), Rohrbacher & Young (AK).

Clearly the American public can no longer trust the media.
Real journalism is dead or dying a slow agonizing death.
Apparently the powers who govern this dying breed are not smart enough to realize they have thoroughly trashed their industry.

They banked on a stupid public.
They forgot what this nation was founded on.
ETHICS, SPIRIT AND A WILLINGNESS TO DIE FOR FREEDOM.

Now it appears the writing is on the wall. We are being fed a line of propaganda that tracks right back to the Whitehouse Inter Sanctum.

Barack & Michelle Obama + Valarie Jerrett + Buffy Wicks + Yosi Sergent + NEA (national endowment of the arts) campaign to propagandize the public with posters.

I am always amazed at how quickly this administration denies any complicity IN ANYTHING.
Apparently Obama feels if he pretends not to KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING we are dumb enough to think he is not involved to his ears.

Is this someone out of touch or simply stupid?
Is this where faux charm/eloquence hits the proverbial brick wall?
