Word on the street is President Barack Obama is trying to use his pardon power to make millions of illegal aliens citizens.

Can this be true?

With all of the shenanigans he has already pulled it would not be terribly surprising.
How would that fly?
Probably not well since it would open him to serious calls for impeachment.
With the impending overthrow of democratic majority in both houses in the fall essentially that move would make him dead meat. However it appears Obama thinks he is invincible and can do WHATEVER HE CHOOSES no matter what.

Has the Obama administration been holding behind-the-scenes talks to determine whether the Department of Homeland Security can unilaterally grant legal status on a mass basis to illegal immigrants? Rumors say it is so. For the public to finally know? Only time will tell.

We do know that on Monday, eight Republican senators sent the president a letter saying they are concerned that he will grant unilateral amnesty to America’s illegal immigrant population if his efforts to overhaul current U.S. policy fail in Congress.

The letter called on Obama to abandon any attempt to “unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. Such a move would further erode the American public’s confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.”

The eight senators who signed the letter were Charles Grassley of Iowa, Orrin Hatch of Utah, David Vitter of Louisiana, Jim Bunning of Kentucky, Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, Johnny Isakson of Georgia, James Inhofe of Oklahoma and Thad Cochran of Mississippi.

My first reaction to hearing parts of the General Stanley McChrystal interview in Rolling Stone Magazine was WOW!
No big surprise that just about EVERYONE in the media felt McChrystal needed to be sacked even though that WAS NOT really in the best interest of a troubled Afgan war.

As an average citizen my thought went to … GEE WHIZ!

Bottom line is we have an incompetent, weak leader who has chosen equally incompetent weak administrators and staff.
Why should anyone be surprised that Obama who has no executive experience whatever or zero military experience would be a dud?

I have to wonder does this do further damage to President Obama’s standing among liberals and Democrats? Will this undermine his chances of keeping control of Congress in 2010?

Florida District 8 Congressman Alan “Die Quickly” Grayson is reportedly a real smart guy having graduated Harvard summa cum laude. But he is being exposed slowly but surely and a complete buffoon when it comes to local Orlando politics. Alan seems to have associated himself with the local gadfly Doug Guetzloe. Bad choice of associates Alan.

The “real” Tea Parties do not want anything to do with running third party “Tea Party” candidates that will compete with Republicans and “split the vote.” The grass roots Tea Party members want to elevate their favorite candidates in the Republican Party primary so the conservative vote is not split in the general election. They accuse The Florida Tea Party of running candidates as a way to split the conservative vote and assure the election of the democratic opponent.

For local politicians most if not all would avoid business or political dealings with Mr. Guetzloe. He has been in law suits and political controversies for a decade or more. He’s been accused in the Orlando Sentinel of deals with the Orlando Magic and local politicians. Not the person you want to be associated with if you are a politician.

And into this third party mess with controversial characters walks in none other than Alan Grayson. Alan has paid people associated with the Florida Tea Party $27,898. We know Alan has $2.4 million in his campaign war chest so 27k is chump change if he could get a conservative third party candidate. Grayson has bought advertising on Guetzloe’s former radio station and Guetzloe has interviewed and promoted District 8 Florida Tea Party candidate Peg Dunmire. Just a little too neat to be a coincidence.

Fortunately the local press, including WKMG’s Tony Pipitone, have been covering this story. It looks to be unfolding nicely just in time for the November election. Let’s hope the Republicans vote in a clean candidate with no baggage to clean Grayson’s clock and wipe this creep off the Central Florida political landscape.

Today I was playing TV catch up and happened onto Glenn Beck’s show. Judge Andrew Napolitano was replacing Glenn for the day and had a GREAT INFORMATIVE monolog about the governments expertise in corruption and pocketing US taxpayers money.

The moral of the story is simple.
DO NOT GIVE THEM CHARGE OVER ANY MONEY NOT PERSONALLY THEIR OWN!

For those not familiar with the Orlando radio talk scene back in the late 80’s and early 90’s we had a couple of popular talk show host. Clive Thomas and Jim Phillips on the local AM radio station. For awhile there Clive Thomas was the number one star attraction. He was a Columbia educated Ivy Leaguer with a sharp intellect and passion for freedom and liberty in a traditional 19 century liberal sense. He was popular with libertarian minded listeners and achieved the height of his carrier in the mid to late 80’s championing free speech issues. Then he became obsessed with pornography free speech and challenging the Christian “Power Team” trying to expose them as fakes.

Orlando Radio Personality Clive Thomas became a “One note Johnny” and eventually irrelevant.

About this time Clive also became obsessed with protecting pornographic free speech and shrilling for the rights of local adult entertainment businesses and their issues. Soon his show was nothing but the Power Team and pornographic free speech issues. A nuclear bomb could explode in Clermont and Clive would be talking about pornography and the Power Team. It was a sad experience toward the end for listeners like me to hear this great master of radio degenerate into what fellow radio broadcaster Jim Phillips described as “a one note Johnny.”

And so to our president is rapidly changing form a serious politician to a freak show who repeats the same dogma day after day. As millions of barrels of oil leak into the Gulf of Mexico the president pays lip service to fixing the problem and promotes another tax scheme. Yes for the Afro Leninist an environmental disaster is a good excuse for more taxes on the American public and another power grab. Same thing with health care. Same thing with financial reform. Same thing with the stimulus. Soon to be the same thing with the upcoming proposal of a Value Added Tax. Same crap different day. No matter what the situation is the answers is always tax the American people and consolidate power in Washington. A one note Johnny.

Obama’s answer to every problem? Tax Americans more.

Exposed for everyone on the right and left to see. It’s obvious to the leftist who truly care about the environment Obama could care less. Just a good excuse for more taxes and another power grab. All his love the earth talk exposed for the cheap talk that it is. When the issue really mattered about protecting the environment all he was worried about was his union friends.

Last night I took the time to listen to the President in his speech about the Oil Spill in the Gulf. As usual it ended up being a promotion of how THIS LATEST EMERGENCY needs an immediate fix (cap and trade) handled by the inept government.

What can I say except this spill is making it clear that Barack Obama on his BEST DAY IS NOT equipped to manage this country.

After watching the Mike Huckabee show on Sunday that featured a number of oil spill “mop up solutions” that appear to work … hearing the President claim the government was on the fix immediately sound hollow indeed. Now either he is seriously deluded or is a liar … because clearly NOTHING IS FIXED!

It is alleged that Sandy Adams (Adams denied any involvement by herself or her paid staff in obtaining or distributing 911 call documents on 6-14-2010 in a telephone conversation) gained access to 911 tapes of fellow District 24 challenger Karen Diebel and made them public with another District 24 challenger Craig Miller assisting in the distribution of the story. If proven my opinion of Miller and Adams dropped to the same level as my opinion of Alan “Die Quickly” Grayson.

Karen Diebel received the endorsement of Mike Huckabee and then all hell broke loose

“On the eighth anniversary of the tragic accident that took the life of her husband Donald, Karen Diebel had planned to spend a sad but reflective day with her children. Instead, the campaigns of her opponents Craig Miller and Sandy Adams sought to politically profit by launching a personal attack.

Eight years ago today, Karen and her husband, Dr. Donald Diebel Jr., and their three young boys were on a family outing traveling on Florida’s Turnpike. They came upon an accident scene where a truck was overturned in the median.

Dr. Diebel pulled to the side and ran to help the victims. While assisting with off duty firefighter Shane Kelly, and with Karen and her three sons watching, a tractor trailer crashed into the accident scene killing both Dr. Diebel and firefighter Shane Kelly and critically wounding 7 other people.

“It would be hard for me to describe the horror of what unfolded in front of me and my children and the overwhelming sadness and deep sense of loss that ensued,” Diebel said.

In time, my sons and I were able to regain our composure and return to a normal, but forever altered life it’s hard for me to imagine the lack of character it must take to engage in such a mean spirited and senseless attack. It is made even harder considering this attack has come on the anniversary of our tragic loss.

I am sorry that my opponents have nothing to say about the critical issues facing America today or about their record or accomplishments. But I would be very, very, wary of anyone who would use a tragedy such as this for his or her own political gain. Personal attacks have no place in a Republican primary.

Our campaign is focused completely on the critical issues facing this district and America today. The unfortunate truth is that my opponents have to find a way to hide their own records of supporting liberal philosophies like voting for job crushing tax increases, voting to increase government spending and placing that burden on our families, and amnesty for illegal aliens.

Florida Congressional District 24 Representative Suzzane Kosmas

This story about the 911 calls first appeared June 13, 2009 in the Orlando Sentinel and June 9th, 2009 in an Orlando Sentinel blog. Florida Democratic Party spokesman Eric Jotkoff kicked off the campaign last June with a statement s dismissing Diebel, a one-term city commissioner who’s relatively unknown outside Orlando, as “unstable,” adding that her “erratic behavior raises questions about her qualifications for Congress.” When pressed, Jotkoff mentioned news reports about an incident in April 2007, when Diebel called police to her home to report she felt threatened because of her vote on commuter rail, then a hotly contested issue before the commission. In the police report, Diebel was quoted as saying her son had found a snake in the pool and she thought it was connected to a threatening anonymous phone call she received the previous day.”

I have personally been told by partisans Diebel is crazy and is a loon. I have known her for seven months and have seen here on several occasions. My opinion of her is she is smarter than her opponents. At times she’s an aloof elitist. She is reported to have waffled in the past on votes for the Winter Park City commission supporting increases in taxes and size of the city government. Physically she’s in shape and one would assume has a physical fitness regime. She can be subdued at times delivering a public address and at others clear and convincing. Is she perfect? Hell no but compared to her opposition I will take it.

Sandy Adams (whose first husband was killed in the line of police duty) to my knowledge has been sucking the government tit all her life. She knows nothing of the private sector except what she reads in the papers and sees on television. Crag Miller is a fat over the hill restaurant executive looking for a job and peer approval. He has some money to burn and he’s burning it. A totally uninspiring fat cat candidate if there ever was one. At least Adams can give you the evil eye when she’s delivering a speech. Diebel is imperfect but easily outclasses the other two. Not even close. She has private sector experience and the best education of the three. When she’s on her game she completely outshines the other two in grace, intelligence and class. Sorry but that’s just the way I see it.

These three have been going back and forth for three months now. Adams has won a few straw polls with her union firefighter and police showing up to vote for her as instructed by the union. Miller has improved to second fiddle and then BAM! Diebel gets the endorsement of Mike Huckabee and all of a sudden she’s back in the drivers’ seat. Then BAM! The next day a blogger releases the 911 reports one day before the anniversary of her husband’s death and the controversy is resurrected.

The 911 reports show over 100 calls from her residence and a incident in 4-30-2007 where she complained of a snake in her pool (Southern Ring Neck that was later released) and that her phone was bugged in relation to her being a Winter Park Commissioner. She complained her computer was hacked into and was complaining of being tired and having to attend another meeting. Strange certainly for a stressed out mother of three boys aged 7 to 12? Maybe her computer was hacked? Maybe her phone was bugged? Pretty easy to do these days. Most of the 100 911 calls are reported to be because of a false alarm from her burglar system.

Now I want to get down to the real issue here. Karen Diebel was living the American Dream with her husband. She and her three kids watched him and another man get killed before their eyes. Did she go crazy? Well who in the hell would not if you loved that person totally and completely. Yea if I saw my wife killed with my two kids hell yes I would lose it. I would lose it a hell of a lot more than she did.

Who can blame her? Does this disqualify her for congress? No in my opinion it makes her more human and humbled before gods eyes.

If the lady and her kids had some bad times coping God bless them for making it this far. I am not going to hold any bizarre behavior against this woman in her personal life. She gets a complete pass. As far as I am concerned we need more like her. This woman represents what we want to see in our elected officials. A imperfect human being who has lived through tragedy and raised her sights on the US Congress. We should be thankful she has the courage to expose herself to the public in such a humbling way and persevere. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if people like Barrack Obama, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were just a little less elitist and a little more humbled in the face of God and tragedy?

I hope Sandy Adams and Craig Miller are not behind this. But if they are may God have mercy on them because I will not. If they are I will track them down and verbally put them in their place. I don’t give a crap how much money they have or how many cops are on their side when you cross the line of civilized behavior you will pay a price. Adams should know this more than anyone. This is the type of crap I would expect from the Godless Democrats and Kosmas not Adams or Miller.

Finally I and all Americans should applaud Diebel for her courage for coming out into the public and running for congress. Certainly she knew the 911 calls would be public. Certainly she knew she would have to relive her horrendous ordeal in her mind several times over. She undoubtedly has turned to her priest and Catholic faith to get through what one can only imagine was hell for her and her boys. If this lady gets a little crazy at time that’s fine with me. She easily outclasses her challengers and is the type of person we all want in congress.
