Oh where, Oh where do I start with this one!!! This article is going to be much shorter than my normal writing because I really am nearly speechless on this one. It seems there was a “disagreement” on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives this morning over rules that say lobbyists are not allowed to speak on the House floor in favor of bills they are paying for, er supporting. The combatants were two Republican House members, Harold Wright and Mike Reynolds. I am not going to tell the entire story here as there is a link later in this article. No determination has yet been made as to the disposition of the complaints filed by each child involved in the fracas.

In Arab parliaments/legislatures they have the decency to throw shoes at one another. In some European countries they throw fruit or chairs at one another. In San Francisco they have limp wristed slap fights when disputes break out. In the Oklahoma legislature two high brows push their noses together and slobber mean words at each other like a couple of junkyard dogs. But all of this is beside the point of this article.

The true point of this article is about the legislation behind the “slobberfest”. Before I get into the actual details of the legislation at the core of this dispute let me bring readers, especially those in the State of Oklahoma, up to date on what is happening in our legislature during the current session. The Republican leadership, and the state is controlled totally by Republicans, are beyond the pale of pathetic in what they are doing. I wrote a couple of days ago about the criminal activities taking place in our state government. Oklahoma Republicans are using the same tactics employed by Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi in dealing with legislation. I have taken to calling Gov. Mary Fallin, Sen. Pres. Brian Bingman, and Speaker Kris Steele Oklahoma’s Axis of Evil.

In addition to the Obamacare items in the article linked above, we have legislation that has been sitting around for three years not being acted upon. This legislation ( HB 1399 & HB 2569) would prohibit the use of RFID chips in Oklahoma driver’s licenses. These chips allow the federal or state government to track every move a person makes and to know within 10 feet where citizens are at all times. We also have legislation from the last couple of years that would allow the open carry of firearms in addition to the current concealed carry allowed in the state. And for those outside of Oklahoma, especially in the Northeast and California, we do not have “Dodge City Night” every weekend in Oklahoma.

Now that you have the background to understand my disgust let me get to the meat of the matter. All of this dust-up and behavior befitting a couple of 5^th graders was in regards to a continuing resolution to “honor” February as “State Music Therapy Month”. We have the Oklahoma legislature ignoring the will of We the People in about a dozen different pieces of legislation, and that is just the ones that I know of, and a fight starts over “Music Therapy Month”? What the hell is wrong with these people? Is this why we spend millions of tax dollars to elect you clowns, to go down there and get in a fight over “Music Therapy Month”? This is despicable to a point that I can’t even fathom.

Our state, and our country, are melting down around our ears and these two juvenile jackasses are fighting over “music therapy month”. They both should resign in shame and take their sorry butts back to where they came from. This is not the reason for you being there. It is bad enough that you waste time with crap like this that means nothing without fighting like a couple of spoiled school boys.

The taxpaying citizens of this state and this nation are fed up with the things going on at the legislative and executive branches of both state and federal governments. And don’t get me started on the Judicial branch. We are not being represented we are being dictated to. If you people don’t have anything better to do just go home and let us live our lives in peace. I am sure some of us common everyday hayseeds can come in there and manage to figure out if we need a music therapy month or not. We can also manage to use our lack of intelligence to figure out if 70% of We the People saying we don’t want Obamacare means 70% of us don’t want Obamacare imposed upon us. Just go home, let me know when you are gone, and I will recruit some people to take care of business without a slobber fight. I am sure some of us hicks can figure out if we want RFID chips in our wallets, medical implants in our hands, and a music therapy month. And if some judge doesn’t like our legislation we know where to find tar, feathers, and rails.

As we go further into the primary season I find the Republican Party doing more each day to insure that Barack Obama gets re-elected in November. The establishment Republican elitists drove Herman Cain out of the running with a smear campaign of innuendo and accusation without one shred of evidence that any of these women were telling any semblance of truth. Truth didn’t matter, evidence didn’t matter; even to Republicans. The point was to drive out any conservative opponent in the running.

Rick Perry, the John Edwards plastic hair of the race, left the Democrat Party when he saw the winds of change bringing a Republican ascendency during the Reagan/Bush ’41 years. Perry isn’t now and never has been a conservative. In-state tuition and a “path to citizenship (amnesty)” for illegal aliens are not conservative positions, despite what Perry might think.

Once Cain had been eliminated Romney and Gingrich turned on each other in a manner befitting true liberals, or “Republican moderates” as the establishment likes to say. Gingrich berates Romney for making money using capitalism as his method. How can he say he is a conservative when he spends day upon day berating someone using the very system conservatives espouse?

Romney’s chief operative in Florida is busy working with Democrats to re-district Allan West out of the House of Representatives; Romney has destroyed the health care system and the economy of Massachusetts with Romneycare, and believes in the individual mandate. Of course, he mitigates the Romneycare issue by saying it is okay for the state but not the federal government to force citizens into purchasing something they don’t want. Gingrich also believes, or says he does, that the individual mandate is acceptable, even preferable. How is either one of them going to run a general election on abolishing Obamacare with these records? Not much of a difference from Obama to me.

Neither Romney nor Gingrich will bring up the issues that matter to We the People. I wonder why not. Gingrich rails at Romney for being a part of Bain Capitol but mentions not one word about Barack Obama having a former Bain executive in his inner circle. Why is this off the radar screen for Gingrich when he makes such a big deal about Romney’s Bain connection? Any mention of the nearly $500,000 in back taxes owed by current White House staff members while Obama rails at the “rich” who “don’t pay their fair share of taxes”? Or how about Timothy Geithner, the king of tax cheats? Not a word from Romney or Gingrich on Geithner either.

Just last week a lawsuit was heard in Georgia, Gingrich’s home state, dealing with the eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as president due to his not being a “natural born citizen”, a strategy developed by Republican candidate John Albert Dummett Jr. of California. You haven’t heard of Dummett because the ruling elite, including their propaganda arm FOX News, won’t give him the time of day. Just another annoying conservative; keep moving folks, nothing to see here. A ruling is expected very soon and is expected to keep Obama off the Georgia ballot. I watched the hearing and it was an impressive array of evidence showing that Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject, making our current president ineligible to hold the seat. One of the most significant political stories since Richard Nixon resigned due to Watergate, yet not a word from the two Republican front runners about it. I wonder why.

I keep hearing that Republicans need someone who can oust Barack Obama in November. I don’t seem to ever hear them mention what We the people need, or want for that matter. I wrote a few months ago, when Romney and Perry were “our only hope”, that we need to be careful what we ask for (http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/10/anyone-but-obama-be-careful-what-you-ask-for/ ). Replacing Barack Obama with a clone is not the answer to our nation’s problems but that is where we are headed with Romney and Gingrich.

It seems Republicans are running to lose once again. This happened in 2008 with John McCain at the helm. He had the best prospect for election in Sarah Palin as his Vice-Presidential candidate but his handlers told her to keep quiet about Obama’s connections to Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. Perceived weakness and a RINO candidate brought defeat and injected Barack Obama into office. I see today’s Republican Party playing the same losing game. They won’t touch Obama’s radical beginnings, the question of his eligibility, or his links to Wall Street money men.

Are the Republicans cowards or are they competing in this race to dissolve the United States of America into a Third World banana republic? I believe it is a combination of both. The party machine, elitist establishment is so afraid of being called “racist” or “extremist” that they refuse to take a stand on anything conservative. Even a dead fish can float downstream and today’s Republican Party is content to be a dead fish. Dead fish is what Romney and Gingrich offer us. Those of us who are willing to fight for freedom are a danger to their little dinghy capsizing in a tidal wave of conservatism and the establishment will do anything to prevent We the People from capsizing their boat. New World Order globalists own the Republican Party and conservatives are a danger to that ownership.

Right now the Republican Party sits back and criticizes Democrats but will not really jeopardize their seats in the back of the bus to stand with those of us who want true liberty to be restored in America. When the winds of change began to blow the way of conservatism during the Reagan years many Democrats wanted to jump on the bandwagon to continue their places of power in congress. Alan Specter is a classic example of this, as is Rick Perry.

Both, along with several others, changed over to the Republican Party and were welcomed with open arms by Gingrich and the Republican leaders in the Senate. I also remember them giving committee chairmanships to Democrats in the name of “civility” and “inclusiveness”. What happened? The Republican Party became almost as Marxist oriented as the Democrat Party. This compromising has led us to where we are now, a Republican Party dominated by “moderates” lacking either the courage or the desire to stand on conservative principles.

If voters compromise and “settle” for Romney or Gingrich our nation will lose our freedom, a freedom given by thousands who have died and suffered wounds in battle after battle against tyranny. If voters are willing to be dead fish and float downstream they will find a swamp of tyranny, despotism, and slavery at the end of that stream. It has happened many times in the past to other nations. France, Russia, Germany, Cuba, Venezuela, and many others have settled for the lesser of two evils only to find that evil is evil and the lesser of those evils sold them into slavery and despotism in the end.

As Neville Chamberlain found out in dealing with Adolph Hitler, appeasement and the compromise of values is always a losing proposition. People say that a third party candidate, or an out-of-the-establishment candidate like Dummett, cannot win so they won’t vote for one. The reason a third party or dark horse candidate can’t win is that too many people would rather take a chance on soft tyranny than stand up for total liberty; they would rather float downstream. We cannot preserve our freedom by floating downstream. Our founding fathers didn’t float downstream, the “Greatest Generation” didn’t float downstream and accept dictatorship from Hirohito and Hitler, and I won’t float downstream and accept dictatorship from Obama, Romney, or Gingrich. I will not accept tyranny from Democrats or Republicans.

I have spent a lot of time speaking with and listening to the Republican candidates for Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District seat being vacated by Dan Boren. Most of them have grand plans for what they are going to do if elected. While I admire them for the time they have put into forming their plans I don’t think they really understand the situation we face as a nation. Our nation isn’t facing political problems first and foremost. Our nation is facing moral and ethical problems of monumental proportions. Our candidates have this and that planned but how will they get anything implemented? I have watched Washington D. C. long enough to know what happens when freshmen legislators get there. Trent Lott said it very succinctly after the 2010 mid-term elections. When asked about the TEA Party candidates elected his response was, “we will co-opt them as soon as they get here”.

How do new members get co-opted? All of their grand plans have to be given the green light by the Speaker of the House before anything happens with them. And how does a plan get the green light from the Speaker? Ah, the strings begin to come out with “well, you help me with this project and I will help you with yours”. The next thing you know our newly elected Congressman is looking for office space close to the powers-that-be, sub-committee and committee seats, that “grand plan” being moved to the front of the line for consideration, etc. The only way to get plum assignments that mean more money, power, and prestige, and to get any action on the grand promises they have made to get elected, is to do as the Speaker wants done. Co-opt accomplished!!! They give-in, give-in, give-in, with the hopes that their turn will come up. It is like the gambler who thinks the next card will be their big strike but it never happens.

Congress is full of grand plans to solve every issue known to man. The problem is the wheeling and dealing from the bottom of the deck, in smoke filled back rooms and behind locked doors, our of the public eye. What is done to address the grand plans is nothing short of bribery, hence moral and ethical issues. Do you remember the movie “Cool Hand Luke” when the guard says, “What we have here is a failure to communicate”? What we have in Washington is a “failure to communicate integrity”. Too many members of Congress are willing to make deal after deal to make a splash back home, to “bring home the bacon” so to speak, or to get some pet project a big money supporter wants done. The problem is that it won’t happen without compromises that go against every moral fiber that should exist in a member of Congress.

Washington doesn’t have a lack of plans; it has a lack of integrity, honor, and honesty. What we need is someone who will go there, not to pass some grand plan that sounds like an answer to prayer, but to bring prayer, honesty, and integrity to a cesspool, or “dismal swamp” as Nancy Pelosi called it. I just heard a speech on the floor of the Senate by Tom Coburn. He talked about the amount of spending, the debt limit raises, and the failure of any kind of reform reaching the floor to be voted on. He chided Senators for talking about problems but never doing anything to stop the runaway spending and duplicate programs. Dr. Coburn Criticizes Congress for Discussing Another Debt Limit Increase While Doing Nothing to Reduce the Deficit, or Cut Duplication & Waste . One area he mentioned had 88 programs dealing with one problem.

Washington is full of men and women trying to find a political answer to a moral and ethical issue. Until we send men and women of strong moral character, with the knowledge of how to garner support for honesty and integrity we are going to continue along the lines we have traveled for many years.

We are trying to find political solutions to moral and ethical problems. We need a congressman with the ability to tackle these areas, not get some grand plan for austerity proposed because it won’t go anywhere. I have seen it time and again.

Washington D. C. was a very Godly town when our founding fathers resided there. George Washington took the bible he swore his oath on to a 2 hour church service immediately after the ceremony, asking God for His blessing over the task at hand. Church services were regularly held in the Capitol rotunda in those days, a time before “the separation of church and state”. If there is any hope of restoring America this is the way it must be done.

If we had 535 men and women like our founders in Washington D. C., America would not be in the spot it is in today. We don’t need a Congress full of “grand plans”. We need members of Congress who have the character, courage, and most importantly, the experience to find moral and ethical solutions to moral and ethical problems. Until this is accomplished we have no hope of solving the political problems.

I find myself intrigued with Ron Paul on a regular basis. The man can get up and say some of the most patriotic and sensible things in once sentence and then in the next sentence sound like he just came out of an insane asylum. Paul has great ideas when it comes to fiscal responsibility, spending, freedom, and the Federal Reserve. On the other side of the coin, though, his ideas on foreign policy leave me wondering where he left his brain, or if he has one that is properly balanced. When he speaks of fiscal issues he sounds like Ronald Reagan. When he speaks of foreign policy he sounds like Hugo Chavez and even to the left of Barack Obama.

When I hear him speak of auditing or eliminating the FED I stand up and cheer. The Federal Reserve is a non-governmental entity that is destroying our economy by printing money that has essentially no value, thereby lowering the value of the dollar and guaranteeing severe inflation in the very near future. The FED also has virtually no oversight from anyone in Congress. Paul is also correct in his assessment of federal government spending. We cannot keep spending money borrowed from China for building IHOP restaurants, studying ants in New Zealand, teaching African men how to wash their genitals after sex, and certainly can’t keep borrowing to prop up European countries.

I also agree with much of his stand on Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention Libya, Sudan, Yemen, and the other third world hell holes Obama is involving us in. Fighting a war against Islamic terrorists is one thing but this “nation building” farce is only a boon for the military industrial complex and is not helping any aspect of our national security interests. We are wasting money and lives in a venture that will fail because it isn’t about winning a war; it is about being politically correct and propping up a puppet government. As we are leaving Iraq we see the sectarian slaughter returning. Sunni and Shiite Muslims have been butchering each other for centuries and we are not going to stop it. Until these stone-age animals decide to live like human beings nothing we do is going to change anything. All we do is put our soldiers in the line of fire with a no-win policy that puts their lives in danger with rules of engagement that are insane.

While closing military bases all across the United States we build and expand bases throughout the world. While we are “helping Afghan police and military close their borders to invaders” we leave our own borders wide open to drug cartels and the very Islamic terrorists we are fighting in far off lands.

Ron Paul makes quite a stir when he talks about “legalizing drugs”. I don’t remember everything he has said about drugs but I do know he has some valid points here also. The “war on drugs” has been going on for 50 years and has cost taxpayers billions in wasted money. Not only have we not solved the problem of illegal drugs; this “war” has made it worse. Most of Paul’s position has more to do with leaving this issue to the states, not legalizing drugs wholesale as the story is reported. Ron Paul is a strong states’ rights advocate, as am I. It only took the politicians 14 years to see the problems caused by Prohibition and repeal the 18th Amendment. The war on drugs has been going on for 50 years with the same results we saw during Prohibition. I don’t condone legalizing all drugs but I see a colossal failure that could be handled better at the state level.

Paul has the same ideas on abortion; let the states decide how they want to handle this issue. I agree with him on this matter. If it isn’t in the Constitution the federal government has no business sticking their nose into it. Every time a person or group doesn’t get their way at the state level they run to the federal government to override the states, the place where these issues should be decided. I see abortion as murder, and see murder as a state issue not a federal one.

I hear all of the things Paul writes and says about these issues and I jump up and cheer him on. Then he begins to talk about foreign policy and I scream out in pain. Paul is just as bad as Barack Obama when it comes to blaming America for every ill in the world. I have a cousin who worked in the building demolition business years ago and I had several opportunities to see the activities involved in blowing a building up, or rather imploding them. When I hear Ron Paul talk about 9/11 being an inside job I want to choke his scrawny little neck.

The idea that the World Trade Center was taken down by internally placed explosives is ludicrous to anyone who has even a scant knowledge of building implosions. The amount of work necessary to drill into pillars, place the explosives, wire them together, and tie everything to a detonator cannot be accomplished in a building with thousands of people walking in and out all day every day. A building that size isn’t brought down on itself with a satchel charge tossed into an elevator. The idea that the Bush Administration was involved in setting up the hijackings is equally ludicrous and statements by Ron Paul and his supporters on this issue shows they are well outside the realm of sane or intelligent thought.
While Ron Paul has some very good ideas about what is needed to restore The Republic of the United States of America, he has more than enough crazy ideas to make him a danger to every person in this country. I would love to see Ron Paul be the next Treasury Secretary or Chairman of the Federal Reserve but to put this man in the White House would endanger our nation almost as much as re-electing Barack Obama.

We need a very strong leader with strong conservative values. We need someone who will articulate the conservative message and have the courage of his/her convictions. Now is not the time for waffling or being concerned about “diversity” or “inclusiveness”. The only answer to our nation’s problems is a conservative approach that relies on the Constitution that our founding fathers fought the Revolutionary War to make possible. Anything less will result in the demise of a once great nation and the rise of another Third World banana republic with a dictator such as Adolph Hitler or Hugo Chavez. Ron Paul is not the man for the job.

Yesterday the Obama administration announced he was declining the Keystone XL pipeline application due to the Republicans setting an “unreasonable timeline” of February 21, 2012 for a decision. That George W. Bush, still causing problems for Obama!!! Obama wanted to put it off until after the 2012 elections so he could continue to draw campaign money from both sides. As it is now, he will only get money from the “environmental” nut cases unless the supporters of the pipeline are willing to pay him for a favorable decision after he gets re-elected in November (snicker!!!).

This decision has all the markings of his pledge before the 2008 election to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America. Remember when he said that he would bankrupt the coal companies and that energy prices would “necessarily skyrocket”? Here we are, a chance to keep that campaign pledge to his left wing zealots who want to see America become a Third world hell hole dictatorship. Remember when he closed off all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, ignored a court order to resume permits, and sent $4 billion to a George Soros invested company in Brazil so we could be “their best customer”?

As Obama once again applies his “laser focus on jobs” we see the prospect of 5,000 immediate jobs, 20,000 jobs over the next few years, and the potential 200,000 long term jobs fizzle in an orgy of pandering to his left-wing base. Of course, there is the magnificent prospect of the unemployment payments that will actually rescue our economy. This came from that paragon of economic brain trusts, Nancy Pelosi. Remember when she said that every dollar of unemployment payments generates $1.87 to the economy? That is very good news indeed. There certainly isn’t any sense in losing such an economic boost by providing thousands, tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of jobs. We once again see our country being taken down the road to financial ruin by those desiring to rule rather than govern. This is not new as we have seen what the radicals who have taken over the Democrat Party have been doing for several years.

Environmental groups opposed the pipeline saying it could harm the Oglala Reservoir under Nebraska. That is a huge concern to all of us I am sure. There is no doubt this pipeline will do as much damage to the environment as the Alaska Pipeline did to the tundra and the herds of deer, moose, elk and whatever. I have read many stories about the Alaska pipeline and the results of that coming “environmental disaster”. If I remember right, and I don’t have the stories before me, the herds are thriving because the heat from the pipeline is keeping the grass growing under it without damaging the permafrost. The food being provided by the vegetation in what was a total wasteland in winter, not to mention the heat off the pipes providing warmth for the herds, is actually increasing the numbers of animals.

The big question is what are the Republicans in Congress going to do about this situation? Yesterday we heard Republicans come out and denounce the decision with tough talk and big words, but will they actually do anything to reverse this decision? I have my doubts. As a matter of fact, I will be bold enough to say “No, they won’t!!!” The leadership in the Republican Party is so weak and so busy being “civil” and “reaching across the aisle to work with our Democrat friends” that I don’t expect them to do any more than they have done with the stimulus, TARP, debt ceiling, etc.

Unless We the People elect true conservatives in November we will continue to lose our freedoms daily. We used to lose a freedom here and there but now we see them disappearing in droves. It seems as if every piece of legislation that comes out, unread of course, takes another freedom away from us.
Obama and members of both political parties in Congress are combining to destroy what was once the most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Our economic security, our physical security, and or liberty are all being taken from us by those who got elected by promising a better life for all Americans. If it isn’t already too late November will be the pivotal point of my lifetime. If we don’t make drastic changes, assuming Obama allows elections in November, we will lose what is left of our liberty.

We can’t just blindly vote for Republicans as they have proven to be unreliable, and as dangerous as Democrats. Only 22 of the 87 freshmen TEA Party members elected to the House of Representatives in 2010 voted against the debt ceiling increase last fall. If we have another freshman class like that in 2012 we are doomed to a lifetime of tyranny. Our future is at stake and the Keystone XL Pipeline permit denial is just one more nail in the coffin of the Republic of the United States of America.

The U S 10th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld a ruling by U S District Court Judge Vicki Miles-LeGrange ( http://ftpcontent.worldnow.com/griffin/NEWSon6/PDF/1011/SQ%20755%20-%20Injunction%20from%20Certifying%20Election.pdf ) that Oklahoma State Question 755, passed on November 2, 2010, is unconstitutional. The State Question was passed by 70% of the voters of the State of Oklahoma to ban the use of Shari Law, International Law, or the laws of any foreign country in the state. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) filed a lawsuit saying the question discriminated against Muslims in Oklahoma. In the original filing, CAIR’s Oklahoma director called the bill a case of “anti-Muslim bigotry”.

“This is an important reminder that the Constitution is the last line of defense against a rising tide of anti-Muslim bigotry in our society, and we are pleased that the appeals court recognized that fact,” said Muneer Awad. “We are also hopeful that this decision serves as a reminder to politicians wishing to score political points through fear-mongering and bigotry.” http://www.newson6.com/story/13581997/state-question-story

The 10th Circuit agreed with Judge Miles-LeGrange and upheld her ruling in an opinion released on January 10, 2012 (http://www.ca10.uscourts.gov/opinions/10/10-6273.pdf)

Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt said that states have the right to establish their own court systems and have a say in which sets of laws are followed.

I have been actively involved in the political spectrum for about 3 years now. Thirty-five years ago I tried to get involved but when I saw how corrupt and self-serving the process was I gave up. I registered as an Independent with the hopes that being an Independent would insulate me from the corruption, self-serving politicians, and the evil that pervades both parties. I was sadly mistaken. In that 35 years nothing has improved. Now, 35 years later, I find our Republic in the death throes of dictatorship and people in both political parties working together to enslave We the People. Sadly much of this is my fault because I chose to ignore it in the hope it would go away. It didn’t go away but instead has become much more of a problem and much more of a danger. I re-registered as a Republican just after the 2008 elections that saw John McCain, and the Republican Party machine, surrender my nation to the most radical thing that has ever sat in the White House.

I have seen the Republican Party sacrifice my freedoms on the altar of the party machine interests time and again. I have seen congressional Republicans cave on issue after issue and “go along to get along”, be “bi-partisan, civil, and agreeable” , and “reach across the aisle” to work with their “friends in the Democrat Party” until they no longer stand for the ideals our founding fathers espoused in the Constitution. Republicans have done this in spite of the promises they made to get elected in record numbers. I have found the Republican Party does not represent me any better than the Democrat Party.

In 2010 voters in the State of Oklahoma swept Republicans into office in unprecedented fashion, much as was done in the national elections. We also passed state referendums opposing Sharia Law and Obamacare. The first thing the newly elected Republican governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House did upon taking office was begin a plot to implement Obamacare in the State of Oklahoma. They tried 3 different stealth approaches to slip this into law in spite of the overwhelming, and by overwhelming I mean 70% of the voters, opposition to Obamacare. They were looking at the $54.5 million that would come from the federal government for them to spend, particularly with their allies in the insurance business. Governor Mary Fallin, State Sen. Brian Bingman,

and State House Speaker Kris Steele were the authors of this dastardly plot to subvert the wishes of 70% of We the People of the State of Oklahoma. All of their attempts were thwarted due to the dogged work of OKSAFE, an organization dedicated to defeating Obamacare, and dedicated to being a watch-dog on Oklahoma politicians. I have been told, but cannot verify at this moment, that they are hatching new plots to implement Obamacare in the next legislative session. They seem to be determined to sneak this through when they think We the People aren’t looking. They want that $54.5 million for their cronies, not for We the People.

I was astounded that Republicans would behave in this fashion. I don’t know why it surprised me but it did. Maybe it is because I have followed the TEA Party movement and seen how Republicans have seemed to step right into what We the People want done in government. Once again I have seen the duplicity and self-serving nature of politicians rear its ugly head and have begun to realize none of them can be trusted. I have seen the “tell voters what they want to hear and do as we please once elected” attitude alive and well within the Republican Party.

In 2009 I got involved in a campaign for the 2nd Congressional District of Oklahoma. Dr. Charles Thompson nearly upset a long time Democrat, coming close enough that Rep. Dan Boren has decided he won’t run again. Since that time I have become actively involved in my local county party group with the intent of cleaning the corruption and “insider trading” out of the system. I have been elected, by my county peers, as the State Committeeman representing Rogers County in the Oklahoma Republican Party.

Everything was rolling along fine until we began the primary race for the 2nd Congressional District. I won’t go into details as the details will be very plainly evident in this letter that I sent to the state chairman, district chairman, and the county chairwoman responsible for the issue at the district meeting held in October 2011 in McAlester, Oklahoma. The last 3 names on the list of recipients are there because I discussed it with them to get their input on how I should approach this matter. We were working together to organize a candidate forum and I felt I owed them the courtesy of letting them know how I wound up handling this matter. The e-mail I sent follows:

To date I have received one response to this e-mail. Matt Pinnell, Oklahoma State GOP Chairman, called me one afternoon and told me that Ms. Gerard was contemplating stepping down from her county president position and that this is behind us. I don’t know that anyone has stepped down and the problem wasn’t addressed, only swept under the rug. It might be behind him but it isn’t behind me.

I subsequently made a request that I be allowed to speak at the next Republican Party District 2 meeting and at the next state committee meeting. So far Mr. Montgomery e-mailed me that Ms. Gerard was doing the planning for the District meeting and that he would get back with me on the matter. That was November 16, today is December 27. I have yet to hear any response at all from the state level. My purpose in speaking at these meetings is to make others aware that this happened and remind them that We the People must step up to tell the political operatives who they represent, and who they work for. I also desire to let others as appalled as I am know that they aren’t alone and need not fear standing up for what is right and just.

State Representative George Faught is playing the old game of self-serving political opportunism. I believe that if he is our next congressman he will do whatever he is told to do by party leadership. He will do what he has to do to improve his own position, power, and benefits in Congress. In addition to this little game he has his campaign staff, one of which is the Vice-Chair of Rogers County, going around to speaking engagements of the other 5 candidates and recording everything they say. This might be good politics but to this voter it is unethical and shows a lack of confidence in his own message. I don’t need to know what others are saying about issues, I can make the case for my views. A good candidate should be able to make the same statement.

Bringing this to the public is painful as I have no desire to hurt the Republican Party. My desire, or more accurately my responsibility, is to stop the corruption and turn the party back into “the party of the people”. It is up to citizens to get involved and have the courage to take whatever steps are necessary to save our nation for future generations. The only way to defeat evil is to fight it, to bring the back room deals into the light and under the table bargaining above the table. The only way to stop the party insider dealing is to get outsiders involved, outsiders who value the Constitution more than the party.

I can’t imagine how anyone in America today can’t see what is going on, can’t see what is happening to their freedom. Sadly, too many people don’t want to see what is happening, but ignoring the problem won’t make it go away. Not only will the problem not go away, it will fester and get worse like a wound that doesn’t get washed, medicated, and bandaged.
The festering wound that too many people don’t want to see is the government, both political parties. This wound has been left by We the People to fester and get infected for far too long. It is time we began treating the wound. I have a plan laid out later in this article.
I just read about another government plan to “protect us”. Janet Napolitano is calling for a plan to control mass migration of “immigrants”:

The administration spins this plan as a national security measure, and uses the Presidential Policy Directive on National Preparedness for their justification. Napolitano and her enablers, in both parties, are being “humane”, thinking about those “poor Mexicans” who have it so tough in Mexico. Our government can’t take care of what they have now, can they? We have to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to survive now, yet the regime wants to add to the list? And in the name of “caring for those poor immigrants” they let American citizens do without, and threaten to make them do with less, all in the name of being “humane”.

This plan is another nail in the coffin of freedom yet I continually hear people dismiss these nails with, “it can’t happen here”, “it won’t happen here”, “I don’t think we really have much to worry about, the government cares about us”. Anyone want to buy a bridge in NYC?
The festering wound I refer to is the tyranny being implemented now and planned for the future by the government, and the apathy of all too many citizens. The washing needed here is prayer; the disinfectant needed is knowledge of the real issues. The medication is letting elected officials know we are watching and we are knowledgeable. The wound dressing is voting almost all of those in Congress out of Congress. More on this later.

Having humanity and compassion as character traits is admirable. I may not sound “humane” or “compassionate” in some of my viewpoints but I am actually more humane and compassionate than the liberals. I want everyone in this nation to prosper, to climb the economic ladder, not wallow in poverty and hopelessness. I desire to see a nation where anyone can succeed if they have the desire and the drive to succeed. I want to take care of those who truly can’t take care of themselves, physically or mentally, and I am totally in favor of helping those who just need a hand up. This isn’t what we are seeing today. We are seeing the systemic destruction of our nation, our lives, and our freedoms. We are seeing government take more control of our society. We are seeing people subjugated because they feel “entitled” to the possessions of others and are being pandered to by both political parties. This isn’t about fairness, it is about control.

Now back to my earlier medical reference. The “festering wound” is what has been done in the past, what is being done now, and what is “planned for” in this plan for mass movement of people, among other tyrannical moves by the federal government. They speak of “immigration” but is that their actual concern? Couldn’t that mass migration be any person or any group of people? What is to stop them from “migrating” non-Hispanic people to another area and turning the southwestern portion of the United States into another province of Mexico? Hitler started with Jews, then progressed to Gypsies, Homosexuals, and any non-Aryan person. Hitler murdered 11 million people in the name of “compassion”. The Israeli government, under appeasers they call “moderates”, have removed settlers from areas and turned those areas over to Muslims. The result seems to be that those areas are now missile launching pads, but what the heck, “fairness” was implemented.

Although there is denial from some politicians, Sections 1031 and 1032 of the National Defense Administration Act (SB 1867/HR 1540) seem to be aimed at American citizens, not aliens. We now have legislation that appears to allow the military to arrest any citizen, without just cause, without charges, without warrants, and hold them indefinitely inside or outside the United States. Indefinitely means “until the war on terror is over”. And when will that fine day occur? They are also actively planning an “internet kill switch” to give a China, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. type of government control of the internet. I wrote about this a little over a year ago when Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn) introduced legislation for this purpose, “for national security reasons”. Last month we had the test of the National Emergency Alert System that gave government agencies complete control of all radio and television broadcast signals. We now know that it is possible for the Goebbels Commission (FCC) to seize control of all broadcast signals at one time. Isn’t that encouraging to freedom loving people?

The FEMA camps that people have laughed at or denied are now being brought into a usable state. The “conspiracy theory” that I wrote about over a year ago is now fact. The government is looking to companies like Halliburton to staff these camps. Remember Halliburton in Iraq? The government has solicited bids for personnel to staff the camps. Have you seen pictures of these camps? If not, you should. They are eerily similar to the concentration camps of Nazi Germany. I suspect that these camps aren’t only for illegal immigrants. I could go on for days about what is being done by government, by both political parties, but if you don’t see the light now or still deny the facts then that would be wasted time and space.

Now, what to do about the festering wound. The first thing we need to do is wash the wound. We need to look at the damage and see what needs to be done. To see the damage clearly and to acknowledge the extent of that damage is the first step. We wash the wound with clear vision by asking God to open our eyes to truth, the truth of God and the truth of our situation. We need wisdom to properly treat the wound. We get the wisdom of how to treat the wound through prayer. Every religion I know of prays. What or who they pray to is not the issue here, so don’t get lost in dogma. I am a Christian so I pray to the God of Abraham, through Jesus Christ.

I pray for the vision of a clear heart and a clear mind to see the truth and to see the issues as they truly are. I pray that I will have the Wisdom of Solomon to work in the proper manner to solve the problems I see, the courage of David to actually deal with the problems, and the compassion and the practicality of Jesus in dealing with the problems. Jesus wasn’t all compassion, He had a practical side also. I pray for protection for my country, my family, my friends, and myself.

The next step is to take the vision and wisdom received through the prayers and treat the wound. We use the vision and wisdom to learn about what the government is doing in the name of these wonderful “utopian” plans to take care of everyone in the world. Study some recent history. Take a good look at the 20th Century. Look at where other nations have gone and how they got there. Use your vision and wisdom to find out exactly what is being done that you aren’t being told about or what has been done that you have ignored in the past.

We treat the wound by first washing and assessing damage, then disinfecting it. We disinfect the wound by learning what the Constitution says, what our founding fathers did, how they set this nation up. We disinfect the wound by learning what legislation is being passed, how the wording affects citizens, and what bureaucratic regulations are being created to implement said legislation. We don’t just listen to what politicians and bureaucrats say in sound bites, we look at what they are doing behind the talking points and rosy analogies, and look at what they are doing behind closed doors.

We disinfect the wound by keeping in contact with elected officials and let them know we are watching, what we expect of them, and what the results will be if they choose to ignore us. We use the antiseptic of our involvement to remove the infection that has been festering for much too long. Again wisdom comes into play as we need the wisdom to know how to go about said disinfection.

We can all disinfect at all levels of government, in various capacities. School board, City, and County elections have abysmal voter turnouts and we wonder why they don’t seem to care what we think. You can disinfect the government by keeping in contact with all levels of elected officials.
Let them know where you stand and that you will vote them out if they don’t represent you properly. Write, call, fax, or e-mail Congress members, and other elected officials at all levels, often. Let them know you are here and you vote.

Cleaning and disinfecting the wound doesn’t accomplish much if that is all we do. Next we must medicate and bandage the wound by standing up and volunteering to serve our communities. At the local level get involved by running for school board seats, city councils, county government, etc. Some can get more involved at the state level. Run for office if you can at any level of government. So far we still have government Of the People, By the People, and For the People. It is up to us to keep it that way.

Help heal the festering wound that is infecting America. Use prayer to gain the vision and the wisdom to know what the damage is, and the courage to do what is necessary to treat the wound. Be the medicine and dressing on the wound you just cleaned up and disinfected. Be a part of the healing of your nation, of the future of your children and grandchildren.

We can do this but it needs to be done as a team. The Medical-A Team is God, assisted by We the People. Just as doctors and nurses work together to heal bodily wounds and infections; We the People can work together, Under God, to heal our political wounds and infections.

First we look to God, we plead our case, and we ask for His forgiveness and mercy (2 Chronicles 7:14). Then we follow His wisdom, and act through that wisdom with courage to make the changes needed to survive as a free nation. This is the answer to our future, are you willing?

Sen. Coburn, Sen. Inhofe, Rep. Boren, December 10, 2011

I am writing about the National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867/H. R. 1540). This legislation authorizes the President of the United States to order the military to arrest and detain American citizens for “suspected” terrorist activities or sympathies. It also provides for indefinite detention, at sites either inside or outside of the United States, without charges being preferred against said citizen. Apparently, according to a White House statement, Obama objects to the alien detainee provisions of this legislation. That is just great, our esteemed leader objects to alien detention but not citizen detention! That tells me a great deal about the design and purpose of this legislation. All that is necessary to enact the provision of this legislation is for a neighbor to denounce a citizen as a “possible terrorist”. History is full of denunciations; the French revolution, the Salem witch trials, the Russian revolution, Nazi Germany, China, Cuba, North Korea, etc.

By passing this legislation you are effectively negating the 4th, 5^th, 6^th, and 8^th amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America. This legislation has also begun the active search for private companies to staff the FEMA camps that have been built as a result of S. 645, passed in 2009 I believe it was. At the time I protested the building of these camps, designed just like the concentration camps of Nazi Germany. The response was that these camps were built for housing victims of natural disasters. I didn’t buy that lie then and I don’t buy it now. These camps are for the subjugation and imprisonment of American citizens who will not bow down to a tyrant.

If the government intent is housing victims of natural disasters, why the razor wire and barbed wire? Why the double fence with a guard and dog run between the fences? Why the huge iron gates with the massive locks and chains? Why the guard houses outside the compound? Why the machine gun capable guard towers? Why the proximity to railroad tracks, just as in Nazi Germany? Am I to understand that civilians being housed after their homes have been destroyed have to be fenced in like animals? Sounds like Bovine Scatology to me.

And why all of a sudden does Congress and the Obama regime begin staffing these camps? This new legislation comes out, after the camps being around for 3 years, and suddenly it is important to begin staffing them right before the 2012 elections? Would this have anything to do with Governor Beverly Perdue (D- North Carolina) calling for the suspension of elections? Would this have anything to do with Rep. Jesse Jackson (D-ILL), and others, calling for the suspension of the Constitution so Barack Obama can “do what he needs to do” to “transform this nation”? Is this in preparation for those who disobey martial law provisions?

Would this have anything to do with the provision in Obamacare providing for a civilian “defense force” equal to or greater than the United States military, equipped as well or better than the United States military and pledging their loyalty to Obama? Has this happened before in history? I seem to remember Hitler’s Brown Shirts, the SS, and the Gestapo. I remember the KGB and their terror campaign against anyone who spoke up for freedom, or was even suspected of thinking about freedom.

If the government is concerned about ”homegrown” muslim terrorists it doesn’t need FEMA camps divided into 10 districts with hundreds of camps scattered throughout the nation. There aren’t that many muslims, much less muslim terrorists in America. Of course, with the current regime not acknowledging muslim terrorism that can’t be the reason for the camps can it?

And what does the current regime, and many in Congress, consider the threat to America? Let’s take a look at what the Department of Homeland Security considers a threat: Military veterans, especially combat veterans and those with special operations training, white males, Christians, NRA members, people missing fingers (?), those who are against abortion on demand, TEA Party members or supporters, anyone with extra food and water in case of emergencies, gun owners, and on and on. Need I go on with the list?

That our government is targeting American citizens with this bill is plain enough. The Obama regime, along with the Democrats and RINO’s in Congress, has been targeting conservatives for several years and now we see this being brought into a clearer focus.

It is bad enough that these things are happening but to see the votes be 93-7 in the Senate and 406-17 in the House is staggering, and frightening. Now I understand that the versions are being forged into a single bill behind closed doors. Once again We the People see our government doing things behind closed doors, subjugating us by subterfuge. Transparancy? Not in Washington D. C.

All of a sudden Lindsey Graham and John McCain come out and say they didn’t realize that this bill provides for the repeal of sodomy and bestiality regulations in the military. It is bad enough that these regulations are taken out but for two of the leading proponents of this to now say they didn’t know what is in the bill is appalling once again. Do they, or you, know what else is in the bill? Is this “we have to pass it so we can find out what is in it” legislation again? Does anyone read anything in Washington or does everyone go on talking points by those who write such tripe?

This is what Operation Fast & Furious was all about wasn’t it? Manufacture an excuse to abolish the 2^nd Amendment and begin the systematic confiscation of all firearms. Adolph Hitler did this as a prelude to his massacre of millions, Stalin did this as a prelude to his massacre of millions, and guess what, every other despot who desires to subject his citizens to tyranny first rounds up any method of self-defense before slaughtering citizens wholesale.

You have essentially declared war, in the normal back room manner, on We the People, the citizens of the United States. I believe Congress and the administration either don’t understand the gravity of what you are doing or don’t care. Our nation was forged when farmers and woodsmen who desired to live in freedom stood up against a tyrannical government and won their freedom from King George and England. We the People will not be subjugated again. Our forefathers have fought war after war against tyranny, first to stop the tyranny, and many more times to prevent it from returning.

The Revolutionary War won our freedom, the War of 1812 preserved it. The Civil War won freedom for slaves, black and white. World War II preserved the freedom won in the first wars by stopping the tyranny of Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo. And now while our brave soldiers are fighting tyranny in foreign lands their government is busy subjugating their families back home.

This will not be allowed to stand. You can kill thousands of us, you can imprison millions of us in the FEMA camps but you will never be able to subjugate the will of the American people. We have known freedom for too long to let it go by the wayside now. Americans are not going to give up their guns and passively walk into the gas chambers as the Jews did in Nazi Germany. We the People will not stand idly by and see our freedoms taken by despots, regardless of which political party they belong to. You will have to fight us in the streets, the country, and wherever you find us. There are millions of us ready to defend our freedoms, and the freedoms of our fellow citizens, with our lives. We will not surrender to tyranny peacefully.

Congress needs to scrap this legislation and go back to the drawing board. In the first place, these “comprehensive” bills have more trash than substance in them because no one reads any of them due to the length and the fact that reading legislation takes time away from “more important things”. Any provision that allows citizens to be treated other than provided for in the Constitution should be summarily tossed into the garbage can. Our national defense can be provided for without subjugating the American people to summary arrest without charge, without trial, without just cause.

The same Republicans who gave us the Patriot Act are now tightening the screws even more. I assume this will continue until we fight back. I don’t condone violence and don’t wish to see it come to that but We the People can only take so much before we won’t back up any longer. The TEA Party arose out of abuse by government, choosing to peacefully protest government tyranny. Unlike the Occupy Wall Street clowns, TEA Party people rallied in peace, without assaults, without vandalism, without rapes, without attacking police, without arrests. That should prove the patriotism of TEA Party minded people and show government that we expect to be heard without resorting to violence.

Don’t misunderstand and take the peaceful rallies of conservatives as a lack of resolve. Peaceful doesn’t mean cowardly, it means willing to work within the system to make changes. Peaceful doesn’t mean we will willingly march to the slaughter house.

I look forward to hearing that this situation has been resolved and that We the People are not going to be forced to fight a second war for independence.

I keep hearing that Congress’s Super Committee has failed due to the fact they could not agree on the “spending cuts” and “revenue enhancements” they were “supposed” to make. The sinister truth of this unconstitutional committee is that the perceived failure is actually a successful conclusion. You see, the whole idea at the outset was for failure.

The goal of both parties from the outset was for this venture to fail so both parties could go back to business as usual. It was nothing but a smoke screen to self-justify raising the debt ceiling, a way to distract We the People so they could continue the trip to tyranny we are on. The Democrat Party base is happy they didn’t allow any spending cuts and the Republican Party base is happy they didn’t allow any tax increases. Those of us with any brains at all know the score. The party insiders won again. After all, what are we going to do about it, vote them out? Both parties are complicit and the “leaders” have been in office for decades without any danger of being voted out because they buy votes with the spending.

Am I not correct about this? Wasn’t this committee the “answer” to the “temporary” debt ceiling issue? They would raise the debt ceiling $2.4 trillion today while they debated how to cut $1.2 trillion over 10 years. And the “super committee” was to figure out how to “cut spending”, or in plain talk, disseminate the smoke screen so the citizenry couldn’t see Congress burn our country down. They can now go back to the normal finger pointing, partisan rhetoric, and baloney that Congress has become famous for while accomplishing absolutely nothing that will be a positive for We the People. They go back on the campaign trail and laugh at We the People all the way to the ballot box, while publicly blaming each other for failure as America burns to the ground.

And while WE the People were focused on the “Super Committee” and its perceived failure the criminals in the Senate have just passed legislation that suspends habeas corpus laws in the Bill of Rights, part of the original Constitution of the United States of America. The Senate, with many Republicans among the 61 votes, has effectively rescinded the 5^th, 6^th, and 8^th Amendments in the Bill of Rights with passage of SB 1867. It now goes to the House for the final nail in our coffins. They have also taken up concealed carry reciprocity, which gives federal government a say in how the 2^nd Amendment is administered in each state. A state that requires no permit for concealed carry will now have to require a permit so other states can “reciprocate” their right to carry. They could have passed a law making national concealed carry without a permit the law of the land but they didn’t. How is that for a successful venture into totalitarianism? Bye, Bye 2^nd Amendment.

How long do you expect the 2^nd Amendment to last now that both political parties have decided Congress will determine state firearms laws? Chew on that one for a bit. They can’t figure out, after 2 months of wrangling, how to cut $1.2 trillion over 10 years but they can take away our constitutional rights with 2 different unconstitutional bits of legislation in a matter of days without so much as a single public hearing in Congress. Isn’t it wonderful when our government works so hard, behind closed doors, to “protect” us? Move on, nothing to see here folks!!!!!!! “The most transparent administration and Congress in history”. Uh-Huh!!!

While we were concerned about where the cuts were going to be made in the outlandish spending, they were busy taking away the rest of our freedoms. The super committee was designed to fail from the beginning. It was all a smoke screen to keep our eyes off of the gun rights issues, the right to a speedy trial, the right to face our accusers, the right to have a jury of our peers when charged, and of all ridiculous things, the requirement that we be charged with a crime to be arrested. The Democrats demanded higher taxes and the Republican demanded lower taxes but neither demanded spending cuts, not real spending cuts; and while we were watching the circus clowns the Gestapo moved in, led by John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Oh, they talked about cutting spending, but with base-line budgeting cutting spending means cutting the rate of growth not actually cutting anything. Neither party has any intention of cutting spending, a fact that should be apparent to even the dimmest bulb in America. If cutting spending was the intent why wasn’t spending cut when Bush had both houses of Congress with him? Why did the debt go up under Bush and a Republican Congress?

If cutting spending was the intent, why have Boehner and McConnell gone along with raising the debt ceiling so many times, including during the Bush administration? If cutting spending and balancing the budget (what budget?) was the goal why was cut, cap, and balance pilloried by Democrats and abandoned by Republicans before it was even introduced? If cutting the deficit was the intent why didn’t it get done when Democrats had super majorities in both houses of Congress and held the White House?

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are being conned once again and all too many people believe the Republicans are the answer. I disagree. I see the Republicans as the right wing of the same bird that has the Democrats as the left wing, and both parties are giving us the bird every day. Unfortunately the great bird of prey that once was the American Bald Eagle has become the Republican/Democrat Bald Buzzard. They pick at the dying flesh of a once great nation; conceived in liberty, won and sustained with blood, and now being murdered by tyrants. We now can look to the old Woody Woodpecker nemesis Buzz Buzzard as our symbol of government. We the People, the 67% who call themselves TEA Party people, still represent the great American Bald Eagle but that eagle doesn’t reside in Washington, D.C.

When you look at who was picking members of this unconstitutional junta how could we expect anything positive to come out of it? Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are the two most radical Marxists to ever control Congress and on the other side we have John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, two of the most meeley mouthed, milquetoast “leaders” I have seen in my life. Reid and Pelosi will pull no punches to turn America into a Venezuela style oligarchy while McConnell and Boehner would rather be known for being “civil and bi-partisan” than stand up for freedom, and We the People. Boehner and McConnell are either cowards or closet Marxists, and I tend to believe a combination of both. Boehner likes to play golf with Obama but would he play golf with me? Not a chance in the world. And what were they laughing and smiling about at the photo-ops? Of course, I would rather Boehner go hunting with Dick Cheney than play golf with me.

I have pointed out many times, and will continue to point out, the similarities with Venezuela. Go do some research and see where Venezuela was before Hugo Chavez was elected president there. Go back about 10 years and start working your way forward to today. A power hungry despot has turned Venezuela into a dictatorship with the help of a complacent opposition party who would rather take a seat in the back of the bus than fight for a front seat, and a complicit media. We are about 3 to 5 years behind Venezuela on the outside. It may come as soon as next year.

If we continue to elect the same kind of people to government seats we will wind up like Nazi Germany and Venezuela. Both countries freely elected those who turned their countries into horror chambers. Hitler is gone but Chavez is still a plague on his nation. Obama, Reid, Pelosi, McConnell, Boehner, and their ilk are doing the same thing to the United States, and We the People.

The super committee “failed” to find $1.2 billion (over 10 years) of spending cuts but Congress has succeeded in declaring white male veterans who hunt, belong to the NRA, and believe in life at conception as terrorists. All it takes is for a neighbor, or anyone else, to declare you a “dissident”. Does anyone still believe the super committee failed?
