German home-schooling family fights to stay in US

While the White House and many lawmakers push to grant legal status to immigrants who crossed the border illegally, the Romeike family thought they followed the rules — but now face deportation.

They are devout Catholics who emigrated from Germany in 2008 to home school their six children in Tennessee. As Uwe Romeike told Fox News, it is illegal to do that in Germany.

“We don’t have the freedom to home school our children in Germany,” Romeike told Fox News.

The U.S. granted the Romeikes political asylum, but in 2010 the Justice Department intervened, ruling that home-schooling could not be used as grounds to seek citizenship.

The department has ordered the Romeikes be deported. “Now it means same thing as in Germany,” Uwe Romeike said with a chuckle.

The family is appealing the ruling. Their case set for April 23 before the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.

Our Military Personnel is the Most Valuable Asset of the USA

Yesterday while waiting for a client to arrive I flicked on the Glenn Beck program.

His opening monolog was one of the most passionate/pertinent arguments for CITIZEN VETEREN SUPPORT that I have heard in years.
In fact a million BRAVOS!

I was around when our boys were called up for Vietnam (yes they were drafted and went or went to jail).
I lost a good high-school friend who was only 20 in less than 6 mos after setting foot on Vietnamese soil.
I was around when “our boys” started to come home.
Yes many that returned were still boys!
Many boys did not!

I watched with horror as Jane Fonda and ilk dishonored our country by siding with the enemy.
THEY FURTHER DISHONERED THEMSELVES by spitting on our boys as they returned home.

Guess what? … many of those pieces of “pond scum” are those who dodged the draft, rallied against our troops, fled from serving their country to another country, or PRETENDED TO BE SOMETHING THEY WERE NOT … while serving.
Can anyone spell John Kerry … are our elected officials and educators today?
What a travEsty and GROSS PITY!

Anyone who follows this blog knows my opinion on taking care of our Military.

For those who do not know my opinion … let me state it again LOUD AND CLEAR.

NOT ONE PERSON IN CONGRESS should be paid a higher salary or get more benefits than THE AVERAGE ENLISTED PERSON. That includes the President.

Listen up people … without our military WE THE PEOPLE cease to be free.

For those who do not understand this?

The fund for Chris Kyle foundation that Mercury One set up is now $298,630 ANOTHER BRAVO for those who made donations.
Beck makes sure every penny of that money goes to the foundation … if you want to donate you can do so HERE.

Watch your vitamins citizens they could be next on the Michael Bloomburg HIT LIST.

Please NOTE: Dianne Feinstein has her finger on the trigger and the weapon is pointed where? This is definitly someone who should be TOTALLY BANNED FROM GUNS.

AHHH the gun is not loaded.
Gee how many are dead when someone said that?
She has the right to submit laws to govern the people?

Michael Bloomberg the Mayor of New York wants to ban, big gulp soda, food donations to the homeless, pain medication to emergency rooms and OF COURSE GUNS.

Have you noticed yet these take your freedom away guys always try to con you into believeing they are DOING IT FOR YOUR OWN GOOD?

What does that mean anyway?
You are too stupid to know what is good for you?
I don’t know where did this guy get his creds anyway?

Well now he is on a gun crusade again but here is a little KICK BACK you might want to look over before you buy into THE BLOOMBERG BULLSHIT.

Let’s Set The Record Straight: 5 Common Misconceptions About Guns & Mass Shootings

Following the terrifying events in Newtown, Conn., that left 26 people dead — including 20 children — the nation has turned its attention to the topic of guns and gun control.

Considering the fact that Adam Lanza’s murderous rampage occurred just five months after James Holmes stormed a theater in Aurora, Colo., shooting 70 people and killing 12, it seems that the nation, to a certain degree, is determined to speak more frankly about guns and gun-related violence and debate what should be done.

However, this is where we get into an odd area.

It appears that the gun control debate is being dominated by bad information and that the chance for thoughtful and meaningful dialogue — let alone solutions — is being lost.

For instance, in what appears to be an attempt by one side to push for stricter gun laws, there is a wealth of misinformation out there regarding semi-automatic rifles. One side argues semi-auto rifles are the real root of the problem, the other side would like a focus on safety and mental health.

However, if U.S. lawmakers are actually going to enact laws aimed at semi-automatic rifles (or “scary looking” semi-automatic rifles, as Glenn Beck has pointed out), the legislation should be based only on the best and most accurate data. Unfortunately, much of what’s being said today about semi-automatic rifles is either misleading or flat-out untrue.
