The sleeping giant is awake.

It seems the public is truly fed up and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH has become the mantra of the day.
Give back the kick backs (political contributions) from AIG. In the latest poll from Rasmussen 67% say GIVE THEM BACK! While 21% say no. To date only Chris Dodd has said he would. Of course Chris Dodd says he will do a number of things and does not come through. Then we must consider Dodd is living in fear he might be impeached or recalled someday soon. It is probably a good idea for the public to see what he actually is going to do in this case.

Holding ones breath for action to take place is NOT ADVISED!

The public IS NOT STUPID! It does not take rocket scientists to understand the bailout money has gone to those who caused the crisis to begin with. And those who should be the overseers to the whole mess clearly were brain dead on these issues.

Is the public scrutiny going away? Not in this century. The sleeping giant (the true silent majority) has been awakened and is beginning to flex its muscles and scream STOP.

We have forgotten we are the POWER and it is in the best interest of all in public office to realize that lest they be booted out of office on their dead ass butts.

I still believe they need to take a pay cut just like they suggest the public do.

I think 66% drop is a good figure.
After all they have been sucking the tits of the government long enough. Let them work a year for $1 like the head of AIG has said he would do.

Keep in mind those in politics have the attitude of “let them eat cake” while the mass who is now REQUIRED to provide cake and a lot more to the lazy dolts on the hill sees life from a whole different perspective.

I am interested to see who really has the metal to win this battle.
So far my money is on the awakening giant for a whole lot of reasons.

List of the top 5 people who got kick backs from AIG

Chris Dodd (D-CT) $280,238
George Bush (R) $200,560
Chuck Schumer (D-NY) $111,875
Barack Obama (D) $107,332
John McCain (R-AZ) $99,249

Finger pointing over AIG when a mirror is needed instead.

We the people have awakened to an indescribable mess in our government. Daily there are so many things uncovered it is hard to know what to address next.

There is brewing an assault on the 2nd amendment … wake up everyone and be ready to stand up for your rights on this one.

Love this!

Next the brilliant idea that our Military needs to pay for its own medical?
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!
We ask our bravest to fight on foreign soil to keep these ASS HOLES in government safe and then do not want to take care of them? Again I say start the cutback in GOVERNMENT. STRIP THEM BACK TO WORKING IN THE GOVERNMENT ON THEIR OWN DIME.

What a surprise when I turn on the news only to find a whole gaggle of congress people arguing whose fault the AIG debacle is. I was most appalled at watching the lower than pond scum Barney Frank rail about the bonuses given to AIG heads.

HOW DARE HE?
HOW DARE Chris Dodd open his fat mouth after taking THE BIGGEST KICK BACK from AIG with Barack Obama taking the 2nd largest KICK BACK.

Yes I said KICK BACKS … lets call a spade a spade.

I have had a suggestion for quite some time.
EVERY LEADER IN WASHINGTON needs to give up their salary this year. They leap on their soapbox and feign indignation over the mass bailouts that were caused by their own failure. There is only one big change in DC and that is the change of President and Vice President … other than that we have pretty much the same pond scum in the House and Senate. EVERY ONE of them failed in their job. It’s time they stepped up to the plate and took responsibility. Starting with Frank and Dodd.

The Democrats are not the only ones who need to be held accountable. The Republicans share equal responsibility.

Let these businesses that are out on a limb FAIL … the sooner the better.

Apparently Obama and crew are STUPID enough to believe all of us are MORE STUPID than they are. Do keep in mind there is a lot of difference between not paying attention to what is going on than being STUPID. Finally the GIANT is awakening and stupid it IS NOT. The outcry is simple ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I understand how difficult it is. Daily I say to myself what can I do? One thing at this point. Keep this growing blog going. As time goes on the same message will be echoed across the ether.

Get your own Blog … they are free from WordPress.com. Connect to one another. Google is picking up these posts almost immediately. The more of us there are the more aware and informed we all become.

Glenn Beck has said it best … YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Instead of “let them eat cake” it is “chattering class”.

Clearly the ‘Washington Wingnuts’ have forgot just who pays their over inflated salaries.

I just emailed a friend that daily when I boot my laptop I feel like a deer hunter with a stampeding herd of bucks headed my way and do not know which I need for dinner. The government has more crap going on than the proverbial Christmas Goose.

Chuck Schumer on the Senate floor Tuesday was quick to malign the public for burning the telephone wires to a frazzle over the PORK FILLED bill trudging to completion so it can serve as the next “OBAMA PHOTO OP” for the slobbering masses. While the ‘midget minded’ San Fran Nan insists there are NO ‘pet projects or ear marks’. I am not sure who is the parrot Obama or Pelosi on this issue. It does not matter except clearly both think the population is below stupid to believe either one of them.

We the people are now relegated to the ‘chattering class’ which sort of reminds me of the comment ‘let them eat cake’ uttered by Marie-Antoinette before she was marched to the guillotine.

Daily it is more clear this renegade government feels they are comfortable thieves in charge.
This tiny trillion? What can they be thinking. How about a resounding THEY ARE NOT. I suppose the next thing that comes to mind is do they have the capability to put more than one THINKING word together in order to form a sentence. PROBABLY NOT!

Obama asks “what’s wrong with replacing the government fleet of cars with new green ones”?
Gee how about the GOVERNMENT IS BROKE? Or fine fund it out of your OWN POCKET … in fact pass the collection plate starting with Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank and anyone else thinking this is a stunningly great idea? Maybe ask Geitner and Daschel to kick in the penalties they both WERE NOT REQUIRED OR FAILED to pay on their little tax frauds?

Let’s see what we still have:

$300 million for new “green” golf carts for government workers … now that is certainly a must have while the private sector scrambles for their next scrambled egg for the family.

The Los Angeles-to-Las Vegas magnetic levitation train … Harry Reid’s PET PROJECT … is defined as what now? Oh I get it an emergency solution to the problem at hand … you know the loss of jobs, homes and food?

$1 billion was added back for Prevention & Wellness Programs, including STD education.

Is it becoming evident here these politicians are tossing around BILLIONS OF OUR MONEY as if it were nothing.

I say today and will continue to say. WE THE PEOPLE need to apply some BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION here.
INSIST those who think up this PORK fund it themselves out of their very own pockets starting with OBAMA himself.

Take a look at this little snip from Chuck Schumer on the stimulus.

At what point did Schumer fall out of the loop? Is he simply deluded or somehow has he failed to notice the majority of people in the USA DO NOT WANT THIS PACKAGE!

The Washington Freak Show, Part V: Chris Dodd “Adiós”

chris_dodd_picChris Dodd was born in Willimantic, Connecticut. His parents were Grace Mary Dodd (née Murphy) and U.S. Senator Thomas Joseph Dodd. Dodd is a Roman Catholic. He is the fifth of six children.

Dodd attended Georgetown Preparatory School, a Jesuit boys’ school in Bethesda, Maryland. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Providence College in 1966. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in a small rural town in the Dominican Republic from 1966 to 1968. While there, he became fluent in Spanish. Dodd then joined the United States Army Reserve, serving until 1975.

In 1972, Dodd earned a Juris Doctor at the University of Louisville, where he served as vice magistrate of the law school’s student body. The following year, he was admitted to the Connecticut bar, and began practicing law in New London.

Mr. Dodd’s father Thomas during his time in the US Senate sponsored and wrote the 1968 Gun Control Act. It is believed that much of the language of the 1968 legislation was translated from gun control laws in Germany during the NAZI reign. Thomas Dodd served in Germany for the Nuremberg Trials as a prosecutor and is believed to have brought home the NAZI gun laws at that time. In 1967 he was censured in the US Senate for using campaign funds for personal expenses.

Chris Dodd today is under a cloud of controversy for taking out a VIP loans with Countrywide. The loans gave Mr. Dodd a $75,000 break that normal loan recipients would not qualify for. When asked about this Mr. Dodd responded that he didn’t read the loan and was assured the average citizen would get the same treatment. Pretty strange for the Chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. This committee had direct oversight of Countrywide.

Mr. Dodd was a cheerleader for the practices of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He received $133,900 in campaign contributions from the two quasi government agencies. Mr. Dodd is on record for years ignoring the pleas of Republicans and former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan to increase regulation of the firms. Both corporations are insolvent today.

Listening to an interview with Mr. Dodd is like listening to the latest Democratic talking points. When pressed by reporters Mr. Dodd tends to be belligerent and abrupt. One reporter was fired after questioning Dodd about his loans from Countrywide. A real believer in censorship of the press.

Good news it looks like Dodd will be leaving the Senate. And he even suggested Barney Frank leave the House of Representatives. Certainly Mr. Dodd’s best interview of his life.

As reported in the Stoos Views Dodd mused:

“You know, I got to thinking…after presiding over the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac disasters--which cost the taxpayers billions and happened on my watch; after taking $133,900 in donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at the same time I was supposed to be monitoring them, what kind of hypocritical, incompetent SOB would I be if I did not resign myself? After all, I am largely responsible for the current financial debacle facing this country. Therefore, to be morally consistent, I have, this day, called for my resignation as Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. I expect to hear from myself by the end of the day, as to whether to submit and accept my resignation. As I told the Chairman of GM: It is time for new leadership.”

Dodd continued: “And to be perfectly consistent, my friend and partner in incompetence, Barney Frank, ranking Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee must likewise move on. After all, he told us that ‘these two entities, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, were not facing any kind of financial crisis.’ He received tens of thousands of dollars from these organizations too. Like me, he failed to monitor these institutions and was woefully incompetent as well.”

Dodd went on to say that he will soon propose the creation of another bloated, expensive, and inept federal bureaucracy--“The Car Czar”--to oversee the billions of dollars that he and Frank intend to give the Big Three auto makers and to do that which Congress was hired to do--monitor the expenditure of public monies. “What’s a few billion more,” Dodd remarked, “we can print as much money as we want!” Dodd concluded that he also favors the creation of a second new federal bureaucracy, designed to oversee Members of Congress--“The Hypocrisy Czar.”

Barney Frank could not be reached for comment. Adios Senator Dodd. You failed to protect your country and like your father left in a cloud of corruption. Please don’t encourage additional family members to participate in government service.
