More Debt Ceiling Con

July 23, 2011

The Barack Obama debt ceiling dog and pony show goes on and on.
The new Republicans appear to be holding out for a real change while the Republican Elite would collapse like pin pricked balloon if they could.

So it is NOT QUITE business as usual.
The media is kicking, screaming and gnashing their teeth out in fear that THEIR DOLLAR EARNINGS are going up in smoke. All of this in the wake of “OH POOR middle class is going to do without”.
In all reality do without what?
Medicare, Social Security, Medicade, Medicare, Welfare or Unemployment?

That is the FEAR CHIP they use.

Let me point out something they all better FEAR.
Getting paid themselves while those programs lapse?

This President thinks he will escape the wrath of the voters over this?
He must have brain damage (to many youthful drug binges) along with his adviser buddies if he thinks the public is not savvy on these issues.

The Bipartisan Policy Center (the “BPC”) … an IN THE GOVERNMENT TANK … non-profit group that studies solutions to political problems? In a recent report they have laid out what might happen should a real shut down occur.

The scenario is indeed ugly and NO ONE wants mass economic hardship.
Can it be avoided?
Certainly not forever if spending does not stop.

This President, his administration and minions absolutely REFUSE to CUT SPENDING.
They say one thing and do another … THE INCESSENT PUBLIC CON.

What does THIS ADMINISTRATION hope “we the people” DO NOT FIND OUT?

If we all are forced to bite the bullet right now … things get better in the future. We escape the government going bankrupt and our children and grandchildren do not end up drowning in debt before they even learn to swim.

We would end up with less government and less government meddling in the economy.
There would be fewer parasites on the public dole. The job creators would have more freedom to create new wealth and grow new businesses.

This government both parties DO NOT WANT the public to REALIZE.

Government is the problem not the solution, and that we’d all be better off with a lot less of it.

So when you hear Timothy Geithner, Ben Bernanke and Barack Obama tell you we MUST AVERT this catastrophe or “financial Armageddon” … the American public discovering how well all of our lives improve without them is their worst nightmare.

Obama Poo Poos National Debt while S&P Revises US Debt Outlook to Negative

No shock that Obama seems oblivious to the obvious National Debt we face.
The interest alone on the latest debt since Obama took over has raised from 200 billion to 400 billion a year.
While Obama traverses the country on his latest re-election campaign under the guise of official business his message is “we the people” need to cinch in our belts and pay more.

I have an idea … HOW ABOUT YOU CINCH IN YOUR SPENDING BELT MR. PRESIDENT?

You want to raise some revenue by boosting taxes?
Well do it on the backs of those who PAY NO TAXES AT ALL.

Timothy Geithner (the tax dodger in charge) is whining about the debt ceiling being raised. We trust ANYTHING this guy suggests or says why? Caught in another LIE TODAY saying he was in the room and heard Republicans say they are going to go along with the ceiling raise. Of course the Republicans deny that.

Well time will tell.

How much free fall will we see in the stock market over the latest S&P revision? How catastrophic will a raise in interest for our debt be on the economy? Clearly Obama and his allies do not care.

Hard Constitutional questions posed to Geithner.

Michele Bachmann (R-MN) posed fairly hardball questions to Timothy Geithner about his Constitutional authority to pillage the assets of the US citizens yesterday. I am not sure he knew the answers and at best fumbled his way through the session. Lucky for Geithner that good old Barney Frank hammered a gavel and called TIMES UP.

Apparently Geithner is IGNORANT of the guidelines in this most important document.

On the other hand it is not much of a surprise that Geithner was a little fuzzy on his answers about the authority granted by the Constitution. In fact clearly Obama has little regard for the Constitution either. You know he still has that little matter of his “natural born citizenship” issue floating around the halls of the SCOTUS.

Then this week, Geithner released details of the Obama administration’s plan to further inject government control over the private sector. If Obama and Geithner have their way, more financial institutions will be forced to “report in” to the government and have restrictions placed on what the institutions and the investors can and can not do with their money.

From the beginning Geithner did not garner much trust from those with an active brain but next Maxine Waters (D-CA) posed some pretty pointed questions also. Her “just the facts sir” attitude made me chuckle. Apparently these 2 women have more balls than many men on the Washington scene of late.

Washington scandal parade 2009.

geithnerThe government hierarchy is entrenched in scandal these days.
MSM could not wait to leap on the bandwagon to tar, feather and pillar anyone in the Republican party that they felt was doing wrong. The silence from them TODAY is deafening.

Perhaps they do not consider all of the scandal rife in the new political administration wrong?

The news is full of stories about how Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich attempted to sell Barack Obama’s Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Obama’s new White House chief of staff, FOB (friends of Barack) Rahm Emanuel, also has serious ethical shortcomings. Emanuel’s voice is on the tapes of Blagojevich and John Harris, Blagojevich’s recently departed chief of staff. Emanuel is heard representing Obama in the negotiations to sell the Senate seat. When approached by the governor, Emanuel didn’t contact authorities and turn in Harris or Blagojevich for pitching the deal. Remember, at least two players are required for the “pay to play” game. All of those who actively participated in the alleged negotiations to sell a Senate seat are just as guilty as Blagojevich.

There is little if any concern about the pattern of close Obama associates involved in scandal. Apparently the MSM can not connect the dots or never heard the old term BOAF (birds of a feather).

Then we have Eric Holder, FOB and Obama’s nominee for Attorney General, is also guilty of questionable entanglements, making it nearly impossible for him to fulfill his duties as the nation’s top law enforcement officer. Holder, on the last day of Bill Clinton’s presidency, worked on the controversial pardon of felon Marc Rich and a whole slew of others. Later, when in private practice, Holder represented the Chiquita company, securing them a sweetheart deal in the lawsuit against them for paying protection money to AUC, a Colombian terrorist group. AUC is responsible for horrific massacres in Colombia and plays a large role in the exportation of cocaine from the country. Court records reveal Holder wanted the Chiquita case dismissed, saying, “There is no clearly defined rule of international law prohibiting material support of terrorism.” The U.S. government designated the AUC as a foreign terrorist organization on September 10, 2001.

FOB Bill Richardson recently withdrew his name from nomination for Commerce secretary due to a grand jury investigation. He is accused of taking $100,000 from another FOB, David Rubin, president of the CDR Financial Products, Inc. “I have been an unabashed supporter of Democratic causes and public figures, especially those like Richardson, who support a liberal, inclusive agenda,” Rubin said.

The grand jury is looking into Rubin’s Beverly Hills, Calif.-based CDR, which received almost $1.5 million in fees from the New Mexico Finance Authority in 2004. This is after donating $100,000 to Richardson’s efforts to register Hispanic and Native American voters and pay for expenses at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. The New Mexico probe comes two years after the FBI searched CDR’s records as part of a nationwide investigation into whether banks and advisers conspired to overcharge local governments on financing deals.

CDR has also been the target of investigations by the Internal Revenue Service, Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice into whether banks and brokers conspired to rig bids on municipal derivatives and profit from deals at the expense of U.S. taxpayers.

What the news has failed to cover is that Obama, too, received big money — $30,000 — from Rubin in September. Obama has raked in millions for his presidential campaign from donors with business before the federal government.

Then we have the brilliant Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary. He is a must have because he is the ONLY PERSON who can pull us out of the economic crunch the government has foisted our way. He is SO BRILLIANT he can not figure out his income tax using turbo tax. I have to ask how brilliant can someone be if they can not figure out a program set up for kindergarten children. How brilliant is someone who fails to pay their tax for 4 years. How exceedingly brilliant is someone who takes a check compensating for those failed tax payments? Can anyone spell CROOK except me?

If there is a silver lining in all of this it is simple … all of those silent PUNDITS are going down the tubes along with all of us little guys. Apparently these visionary’s can not see the writing on the wall they too will be standing in an unemployment line somewhere.
